When it charged at me I quickly moved left but it still slammed me into a bookshelf. One by one, the rest of the shelves started to fall and one pinned me down. It screeched in my face and I screamed. My eyes glow and I push it off of me. Was I seriously going to let this.. whatever it was, defeat me? I wasn't weak afterall. Suddenly, wings started to come up from it's back. Scott pulled me back by my arm and we ran out of the library. "Is that Jackson?!" I said out of breath as we ran. Scott just nodded and swallowed. Eventually, we found an empty janitor's closet and hid in there. As we tried to control our breathing, I looked around quietly. Jackson was that thing? What was it? Then, the door slammed open. Jackson grabbed me by my shirt and threw me down the hall. I slid a few feet away from hin and started to back away. Then, I noticed his form start to change. He looked more human, but he still had scales on half of his face. "Talia, I thought you were my friend." he taunted and tilted his head. Scott watched anxiously from the closet. "I-I thought I was too." My voice shakes. How was I supposed to talk to him? Was it even still him? "You caused Lydia to break up with me. You caused all of this Talia. I hate you. And now, he told me to kill all of you." Jackson muttered. "He? Who's he?" I asked, terrified. A man walked towards us slowly and took his hands out of his pockets. He looked pretty old... and his voice was threatening. "Me of course."
