Continuing..
"Kya hua, aap dono akele? Vishwas kahan hai?" Anjali asked, her voice trembling with concern as she quickly stepped toward Anubhav and Haseena.
Anubhav didn't answer immediately. Instead, he pulled Vishwas's phone from his pocket and held it up.
"Woh.. Vishwas yahan nhi hai, bas uska phone mila yahan..!" Anubhav said, his tone carefully composed.
"Kya...?!" Anjali gasped, her eyes widening. Woh log Vishwas ko yaha se le ja chuke hai?" Her voice cracked with panic as her gaze darted around the hotel lobby, as if she might spot him somewhere.
"Humne yeh toh nhi kaha.." Anubhav replied calmly, but his eyes were sharp. "Yeh bhi ho sakta hai ke woh log abhi bhi yahin kahin chhupe ho."
"Toh hume dhundhna chahiye, sir!" Siya said, urgency rising in her voice. "Woh log bahut khatarnaak hain... kisi bhi waqt kuch bhi kar sakte hain!"
"Haan.." Haseena agreed, stepping forward. "Aur agar Vishwas Genda ke kabze mein hai, toh humein ek bhi pal zaya nahi karna chahiye."
She paused briefly, scanning the area, tension sharpening her tone.
"Ek kaam karte hai hum, hamari team ko bula lete hai, asani hogi Vishwas ji ko dhundhne mein..!"
Anubhav gave a curt nod, then turned to Siya with focused urgency.
"Siya, tum hotel ke camera footage check karo. Shayad pata chale yeh log kisi gaadi mein gaye ho... ya kis direction mein nikle."
"Yes, Sir!" Siya replied immediately and rushed toward the security room.
Haseena stepped a few feet away, speaking into her phone with her team. Meanwhile, Anjali stood frozen near the entrance, gripping Vishwas's phone tightly in both hands. Her eyes were distant, haunted. She wasn't crying, but the helplessness written across her face spoke louder than tears.
Anubhav noticed her silent struggle. He walked over, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder.
"Vishwas ko kuch nhi hoga..!" He said softly but firmly.
She looked up at him, her expression conflicted..fear battling suspicion.
"Par yeh samajh nahi aa raha..." she whispered, her voice trembling. "Vishwas un logon ke paas gaya hi kyun? Jab woh jaanta tha ki woh log uske dushman hai..."
She paused, eyes narrowing slightly as a new thought struck her.
"Kahin aapne toh ahi bheja tha usse? Kya yeh koi planning thi?" Her voice was no longer just worried, it carried an edge of accusation.
Anubhav gave a small, sarcastic smile, shaking his head slowly.
"Aapko lagta hai hum usse jaan bujhkar un logon ke paas bhejte?" His tone was calm but firm. "Hum kabhi koi aisi planning nhi karenge jisme kisi ki zindagi khatre mein ho... aur woh bhi Vishwas ki."
There was honesty in his voice, so steady, so unwavering, that for a moment, Anjali's suspicion faltered. She lowered her gaze, gripping the phone tighter.
"Aap tension mat kariye, hum Imran se baat karte hai..!" Anubhav said gently, stepping away to make a call.
As he walked off, the tension in the lobby thickened.
Haseena was by the reception desk, questioning the receptionist with quiet authority, her eyes scanning every facial twitch for lies. Anjali remained rooted near the lounge, her gaze drifting restlessly around the hotel lobby, searching faces, corners, anything that could whisper a clue about Vishwas's whereabouts. Meanwhile, Siya was in the security room, checking the camera.
Meanwhile, Genda was just chilling, having her food when her phone ring.
Elsewhere...
In a dimly lit, undisclosed location, Genda sat comfortably, a plate of food in front of her. She was leisurely sipping her drink when her phone buzzed sharply on the table.
