"Hey slut!" Jack G says. "Hope you're ready for your beating." Yeah, I get beat at home and at school.. Its an everyday thing so i'm used to it. "Can you guys leave me alone for once!" I yell. I never knew I had the guts to do that but now that i've done it.. I feel amazing! "Yelling at us? Oh Natalie the things you do to make matters worse."
I've always tried standing up for myself but never succeded. And in this case.. I didn't and i'm dead meat.
"Some of you guys have been bullying me since 5th grade." I state. "I wanna know why you all of a sudden started bullying me." The halls go quiet. "Nothing to say? I guess i'm leaving then." I turn my heel and walk off to 1st period.
*After School*
I walk out if school and into my car. When I get home my dad is passed out on the couch with beer bottles surrounding him. He's been like this ever since my mom died of Cancer 2 Years ago. I start picking up the beer bottles when the doorbell rings and I drop one. Groaning I open the door only to see... Jack Finnegan Gilinsky.
"Hey um i'm um sorry for bullying you for the past 3 years. I've never really had a reason to." You look at him shocked.
"Jack you were my bestfriend. Sorry isn't gonna cut Jack. You all have to gain my trust."
"I understand Natalie. Um can I um yes your restroom?"
You panic but keep your cool. "Um.. S-sure." 'Stupid Natalie. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid' My conscience yells at me.
You open the door wider so he can fit through. "Natalie...What is this?" "I-um that's my dads. You need to hurry up befo-" you hear groaning and you stop dead in your tracks. "Slut! Where the fuck are you. I wake up and find shattered glass everywhere?" You turn around and look into his angry eyes.
If looks could kill, I would've been long gone.
"Um Sir this is my friend, Jack Gilinsky." "Who the fuck told you, you can bring friends over?"
"Um Jack, I think you should head on and use the restroom and then leave." I turn and look at him. I see Sympathy in his eyes.
