" Doctor?" David asked " what kind of special is your friend?"
"excuse me? Special? What do you mean." the doctor asked back. Stumbling over a stone.
" well the shadows only take specials ,they are a species of human that have extra powers ... Wait... Don't tell me you don't know about specials." David gave him a look .
" I have no idea and stop giving me that look just because I don't know what something is, doesn't mean I'm stupid" the doctor said crossly " so keep telling me about the specials what are they, what do they do ,how many are there, and why do the shadows want them"the doctor demanded as they walked along a dirt road toward the mountain
"well here we go I'll give you as much as I know" David said
"one , they are a genetically enhanced persons called specials"
" two, they all have different powers so they all have specific jobs suited to their power if they reach the right age"
"three, there are not very many of them left because of the shadow"
"four,the shadows want their powers for themselves ,they are experimenting on them trying to get the power into the shadows instead of the born or inherit special"
"five ,they are hard to spot because the powers are internal" David finished.
The doctor asked "how do you know all of that?"
David said one more thing as they approached the mountains cave he stopped and faced the doctor and without moving his closed mouth he said into the doctors mined (because you are standing next to one)
"what?... How is that ... I get it your physic but I've never seen one so strong... How did you get your powers?"
" me ? I have had them since I was born. specials are born with their Power or you inherit them as you get older."David explained
" but no matter who your parents are the power is usually different from person to person. My power is apparently so far I can mind talk people and I can tell stuff others can't, like I can tell where Clara and the injured girl is and I can tell you are not from this planet because frankly not many people have two hearts and I can see some people's memories... well people with a weak mind at least, and ummm... and if I'm unlucky and I die,I apperently become a ghost or energy ball err.. something ,and I can interact with objects in the living world. I just hope it never comes to that"
David smiled again "now here is the cave entrance I don't feel any minds in there but we still should be careful"
David steps into the cave, instantly disappearing into the darkness, the doctor follows.
