It was an early Sunday afternoon on the campus of Harvard University.Sam Winchester was sat at his desk in his dorm room diligentlyworking on his paper for his Criminal Justice class. True the paperwas not due until Monday of next week, but Sam liked to get hispapers finished early because he had watched Castiel, his roommate, freak out countless times over papers that were due the next day thathe hadn't started until 10 at night, and he didn't want to end uplike him.

In fact, as Sam was working on his paper, Cas was watching TV. Samknew that Cas had a paper he needed to finish, that was convenientlydue tomorrow, but he also knew that it didn't matter what Sam said,he was not going to do it. In fact if he even brought it up Cas wouldprobably just mumble something about getting to it later. Evendespite his terrible homework habits, Cas always seemed to get goodgrades. Sam was convinced that Cas had bribed his teachers. Sam shookhis head before returning his attention to his work.

Sam had written a total of three sentences on his paper when hisbrother Dean walked through the door carrying a six pack.

"Dean!" Cas smiled after seeing him. Dean smiled and handed thecase to the dark haired student and grabbing one for himself. Cas hadonly met Dean about a year ago when Dean first visited Sam, but theyseemed to hit it off pretty well. This made Sam happy. He didn't liketo think about how it would have been if he had to deal with someonewho didn't like Dean.

Sam and Dean were as close as twins, some would say. Sam would feltlike a more accurate statement would be as thick as thieves, but Samhad put all that behind him some time ago and hoped Dean would too, someday.

Dean made decent money as a floor layer, and tried to convince himthat he didn't need to hustle pool and do thing like that, but Deannever listened. Sam had begun to think that it was more of a hobbynow than anything. Sam also couldn't really complain because Deanwould often use his extra cash to buy him and Cas food for a week orso. It really helped with Sam and Cas's limited budget, especiallywhen Cas would go to the store for milk and come back with fiftydollars worth of stuff that they didn't really need. Cas didn'treally understand the concept of saving very well.

"What's up, Dean?" Sam wondered while Cas stored the beers intheir mini-fridge, one of Cas's impulse purchases. Sam let him keepit simply because it was convenient and he had also wanted one for awhile. Plus, Cas had bought it at a flea market so it really wasn'tpossible to return it.

"Got off early today so I thought I would stop by. I'm not evengoing to bother asking what your up to because it's probablysomething boring." Dean replied plopping down on the futon next toCas.

"Actually, I have plans to hang out with friends tonight, so ifyour still here by then, you'll have to hang out with Cas." Samlied. Really he was going to the Library to work on this paper withJess, but he figured Dean would either not be interested or startmaking a lot of inappropriate commentary about him and Jess.

"Listen to this guy. Still thinks he actually has friends, the poorguy." Dean said to Cas shaking his head. Sam threw a wadded uppiece of paper at Dean.

"I do have friends, jerk."

"Bitch." Dean shot back immediately. Sam shook his head, but hewas smiling.

"What you watching?" Dean asked Cas.

"Harry Potter marathon on TV this weekend."

Dean groaned, "You are such a nerd."

"Oh, and you aren't!?" Cas demanded, "Last I recall, you spentlast weekend marathon-ing Star Wars with me so I think that qualifiesas more nerdy than this."

"Yeah, but I'm cool. So therefore you are still the nerd here."Dean concluded.

Cas rolled his eyes, "Whatever you say, Dean."
