"Love you." she called in a cherry voice.

"Yeah yeah whatever." I mumbled and then slammed the door shut.

That morning I was biking down the trail doing my normal paper route, except I felt different. My eyes were really itchy and I had a terrible cough. I wanted to stay home today but my dad had other plans.

"Mikel," He said giving me a bottle "You'll be fine, drink this and by tomorrow your symptoms will be gone, now hurry, you're going to be late for your paper route."

So I drank it and here I was. The last stop was Angie's house, she's really weird but I like that about her. She was the only girl who treated me like a person and not as a superstar, it was really fun to mess around with her though. One time I convinced all her friends that she was actually Pinocchio, I asked her if she had a crush on and she gasped and immediately said no. Then I pulled out a ruler and measured her nose "Wow, your nose grew three inches!" She took the ruler and hit me in the head with it, unfortunately for her Mr.Krueger saw her and gave her detention. That was the best day ever.

After throwing all the other newspapers at house I was tired, so when I got to her house I decided to walk up and deliver it. Right when I walked up to the porch a little scrawny kid opened the door.  I felt a tickle in my nose and let out a humongous sneeze.  The spit sprayed onto the little kid and he let out a groan.  "Not again!" he said before snatching the newspaper and walking inside.  I stood at the door a little while after he left, shrugged, and then walked away thinking,' That is one weird kid.'

As I rode to school in my Lamborghini I thought about my dad.  It was the look in his eyes when he gave me the bottle of strangely colored liquid.  His eyes sparkled with some sort of emotion, it couldn't have been love unless it was love for his work.  He always jabbered on at dinner about how he would be the first person to invent a cure for cancer.  Turns out he was only the first person in the world too busy to care about his own family.

I was thoughts were stopped short when some idiot cut me off at an intersection.  I rolled down the window and honked the horn,  My first instinct was to shout," Hey watch where you're going, this is a million dollar car!"  In truth I really didn't know how much the car cost.  When I looked out the window  I saw Nina smiling flirtatiously.  I still don't understand why she gives me that look.  I'm really not into cheerleaders.

I got out of my world history class, everything seemed normal.  Girls were throwing themselves at me and guys were all acting cool trying to be my friend, but I couldn't shake the image of Angie's face when she looked at her phone.  I almost thought about helping but I am too cool to do that kind of stuff.

At my Track and Field class for runners my coach gave me a hearty pat on the back.  He almost pushed me to the ground by making me loose my balance.  "Excellent time, as usual.  Preparing for next season?" Coach asked me.  I smiled my award winning smile and nodded.

"Just doing my best Coach." I said and then began walking away when coach grabbed me by the shoulder.

"You know, that's what I like about you sport.  You're humble, strong, and always doing your best." Coach said in his deep voice.  Then he walked off flexing his muscles and talking to himself.  'Yeah sure,'  I thought to myself,' but if we're being truthful if I wasn't on the team they would be dead."  I walked over to my other buddies who had just finished sprinting their 200s.

My buddy named Jake began talking to me.  "Hey, I'm having a party tonight, you should come, bring a friend." he said patting on the shoulder.  I sighed,' Another party?"  All his parties were lame but I had to keep up my reputation.
