When we got to the house I opened the door with my key and allowed them into the empty house, where the only things were furniture and left over food. "You guys can walk around I guess." I said silently and started up the stairs. "You want any help packing?" Paula offered as Josh went straight for the kitchen. "No, just stay down here." I said, then rushed up the rest of the stairs.
~in the bedroom~
I started off with packing up my clothing, which was held in four different suitcases, then I had a suitcase with my feminine products, make-up, hairbrushes and etc. Then I packed up my books in two boxes, my laptop and electronics in a laptop case, that has many pockets, then I put in my blankets and all into different boxes and all. I kept packing until the walls were bare and only the bed was left along with different furniture, like my dresser and desk. When I asked for some help on that, the two only said they could get me new ones, even though I protested. By the time I was done packing, it was eleven at night. I heard a scream, maybe Paula? Then I ran down stairs as quickly as possible and almost laughed at the sight. Josh was standing while trembling, as if he saw a mouse, on the couch as Paula was looking at him and shaking her head. "What happened?!" I yelled, getting the two to look at me. I then saw Paula was holding something that was brownish black in her arms. "Flower! I almost forgot about you girl!" I cooed as I took the cat from Paula's arms. The cat purred as I kept petting it and rubbing it behind the ears. "Josh get down from the couch, it's only a cat!" Paula scolded. "I...I knew that." Josh said. Me and Paula rolled our eyes with a small smirk. "Now, who is this?" Paula asked. "This is my cat Flower. 'Cause she feels like flower petals. I got her from my ex boyfriend from three years ago." I told them as Paula petted Flower, who only purred louder. "Aww..." Paula cooed. "Oh, please let me bring her! If it's alright with you guys." I pleaded. My godparents looked to eachother then nodded with a smile. "I think a cat would be a good addition to the family." Josh said. I beamed. "Yay! And you don't have to worry about her, she always finds a way out, weirdly, and she doesn't meow, she only purrs, and she doesn't scratch anything, and she does have claws if your asking. She's the best cat ever! You won't regret it!" I chirped. The two just beamed as I ranted on and on. "Hey, uhm...can I have help getting my bags into your car?" I asked suddenly. "Oh, of course!" Paula said. She then looked to Josh, who got the hint after a while, then grumbled as he walked up the stairs, me following and Flower keeping Paula entertained while chasing her tail. Don't look at me, I'm not a cat, I don't know why she does it either, I really thought it was a dog thing.
~Later~
Maybe it was around one in the morning, but we finally finished packing my stuff. Then the four of us; me, my godparents and Flower, got into the car. I was really tired and no doubt the others were. Especially Josh, since Paula kept ranting on and on about how exciting it would be for me and Flower, and Josh was just driving while nodding and saying 'mhm'. When we finally got to the airport, we lazily drug everything in, got everything checked, all that lazy stuff and then borded the plane at around seven in the morning. As Paula kept talking to Josh in the seat before me, I sat all alone behind them, since Flower had to be put into a crate, and since no one was beside me, I propped my feet on one side of the two seated rows and lied my head on that window seal of the plane. I then put the earphones from my MP3 in and fell asleep while listening to Drive By by Train.
