Later on that day Key had picked up Shug and Djay (who was humming to an already bubbly Keshia) to go to Key's for a cookout. When they finally for there Djay picked up Keshia and carried her to the backyard. Shug went to go help Nola and Evette in the kitchen when all of a sudden there was a knock at the door.Since Nola and Evette were busy putting beer in the cooler and making lemonade for them Shug went to go answer it.Nerod stood on the step staring at Shug with a awed expression.Even Evette and Nola noticed him. Nola knew but Evette didn't. Shug pulled him into the hallway and asked angrily,"What the hell are you-," she was abruptly cut off when Jerod kissed her out of the blue. When she pulled away Djay stood in the living room looking at him with wild angry eyes.
