Dear journal, 4-10-2013
So I know I haven't been in here for a while but I just needed to write down some of my thoughts so let's start from the beginning again (mainly because I ripped out all the pages I wrote on). So back to basics.
My name is Jayla Rodregiez I am African-American and Hispanic (hence Rodregiez) and in about 15 more days until I'm going to be 15 and my mom is already planing my quinceañeraand. My best friend Rayquan Smithis planning something for just me and my friends.

"Ding dong little blue Jay," my best fried since birth Rayquan said coming in my house as usual
"Whas up Ray," I said not moving from how I was stretched out on the couch (what do you expect it's Saturday I don't feel like moving)
"The sky and clouds." Ray said trying to be funny and movin my legs off the couch.
"Ya know you're not funny," I said trying not to laugh and putting my legs back on Ray
"So Blue Jay did you get your poofy dress you're supposed to wear"
"Yeah it's my style too."
"Oh really can I see it," Ray said with a grin
"Yeah sure," I replied back "in 15 more days ;b"
