Chapter 1- We arent dating!

So there's parts that will be offending to sally fans. Im sorry but im not a fan of sally nor sonally . Sorry :(
-Amy's POV-
Pink , orange, yellow , and red filled the sky as the sun began to set. It looked like someone accidentally drop some paint , not bothering to clean it up. I gazed up to the sky , feeling a bit contrite about something. Someone chuckled beside me , and i could, somehow, tell he was distraugh about me."Whoever told you that?" I immediately recognized his voice and tears suddenly ran down my face. "I like you..No scratch that, I love you " I gazed into his emerald eyes. He suddenly cupped my face and leaned in.

My eyes shot open, and i looked around letting my surroundings sunk in. It took me a minute tl realize i was in my room and not in my fantasy world. I sat up , my vision blurry. I grabbed my glasses from underneath all my clothes at my cabinet/nightstand. I put them on , got out of bed, went directly to the bathroom before turning on my heel to get my usual outfit (sonic boom)from my closet, and made my way towards the bathroom once again. Once i finished taking a shower and got dressed i made my way towards tails house , right after i hid my glasses in my chach-ed place. I could barely see but im used to it.
Once i reached tails's house , i took a deep breath and turned to my "usual" self, before entering his house. I saw three figures which i knew one was tails. As i walked closer, i could sorta delineate who was who."Heya tails!"
"Oh hi Amy!"he smiled , "And um son-" I was interrupted,"Shadow"He corrected me.
"Y-yea.. I meant shadow."I shuffled uncomfortably. Shadow stared at me, as if he knew all my sins. I gulped,"Hey ames" i blushed,"hey sonic "
"Anyways..." I turned back to tails who was working on a machine,"So how's it going with finding the emeralds?,"I asked,"Good i guess. im working on a machine to help me track down the emeralds"Tails responded gently placing the wrench tool on the floor beside him."This wouldnt have happened if sonic wasnt so careless "Shadow said,"Oh come on!It wasnt my fault!"
"Whatever" Shadow muttered. "Hey amy do you want something to drink?"Tails asked. "Uhh sure"
"Um, rose can i talk to you for a sec?" Sonics ears went up as soon as he heard this,"um..sure.."
Shadow walked to the other room and i followed him."Amy..Its pretty obvious you need your glasses"
"W-what are you talking about..?"
"You know exactly what im talking about.. "
"I have no idea.."I sat down in the bed and glanced at him before i sighed.
"Ok you got me. I just don't want to wear them, i can see perfectly fine see?"

"Sonic what are you doing?"Tails asked, looking at sonic lenaing against the door trying to hear,"um..nothing..?"He said moving away from the door.

"Ok fine! Its cause i look ugly with them" I muttered ,"And why's that?"
"Its a girls thing you wouldn't understand " I muttered. "Hes going to find out sooner or later.."Shadow muttered before leaving the room. I let out a sigh before leaving the room as well. I caught a glimse of shadow looking at me as he shook his head. I sat down in the couch next to sonic,"Hey ames?" "Hm?" "Can i asked you something?"
"Sure sonic!"
"I was won-"His phone rang and he looked at it ,"Heh, sorry i have to answer this." He said standing up, Well that was a good 1 sec.
"Whats up sal?" Yep, my heart just broke. He opened the door and left."ugh not her again"Tails said in disgust as he sat down next to me, I honestly cant believe tails just said that. He handed me a cup of tea."Thanks"I muttered,"Ugh i just cant see what sonic sees in her."
"I could say the same thing" I blurted out , placing the cup of tea in the little table in front.
"I just simply dont like her. She probably doesnt either. You could quickly tell by the way she looks at me when i try talking to sonic"Tails continued."So what were you guys talking about?"
I almost chocked on my saliva , "I was just telling her-"
"He was asking me...um on a date!" I blurted out.
"What?"Shadow said with the 'What the heck did you just say' look. "A date?"Tails asked suprised, "Wait shadow likes you?"
"Shadow likes me?" I might have laughed a bit too loud,"ha ha! Nice joke tails!" I giggled , while shadow facepalmed and tails blinked. "No , i mean i dont think so. I think i should shut up now." I said,"Yea..just friends.."Shadow sat next to tails.
"Its funny how you guys fail horribly at trying to hide that you two are dating" Tails chuckled."We aren't dating!"Shadow and I said at the same time."ok!ok! I believe you, gosh!" Tails said ,"Good cause if you said a word about this i swear i will cut you in pieces and feed them to my dog so the police wont find out"Shadow said,"Y-yea i think i wont be talking for d-days!" Tails said. I sweatdropped. "Ok ill see you in a bit. K. Bye love you!" Sonic said as he entered."Hey tails , sal is gonna come-"
"Yea whatever I'll leave before she comes so i dont have to see her.."Tails growled a bit, "Ill just leave with shadow and amy." "What?" Shadow said
"K. Bye!" Sonic said typing away in his phone,"Stupid sally" i heard tails mutter as he stood up and both shadow and i followed him.
"Ugh. I never agreed to do this"Shadow growled. I rolled my eyes,"so where we going tails?" I asked.
"I dont know, far away as possible. I can't stand sally."
"This is..um..fun?" It seemed like we were the only ones in the block except for a few joggers here or then. "You know shadow you never know when a car can drive by and hit you" tails pointed out, shadow didnt care he continued walking in the street."Hey guys can we go pick up cream?"
"Your girlfriend you mean " Shadow teased. We walked through rows of houses , they all looked the same to me." Shes not my girlfriend " tails blushed. A car sped by, and stopped at sonics house. I was too busy glancing behind me that i failed to notice shadow in front of me, so i bumped into him."Sorry" I muttered.
I saw tails knock on a Door and after a few moments it opened to reveal ms. Vanilla. We made our way towards them,"Hey tails! Its so nice to see you! Youre all grown up since the last time i saw you!"
"Err, i saw you yesterday.." Tails blushed and sweatdropped, scratching the back of his neck in embarrassment. "Why hello amy and shadow didnt think ill see you. What brings you three here?"
"We came here to pick up cream" tails said blushing.
"Oh of course! I could have guessed! Wait here for a sec" Ms.Vanilla said , closing the door.
"I can tell you come here often tails " shadow said.
"Leave him alone. Its not his fault he likes her so much" i said. "You aren't making it any better" Tails grumbled. The door shot open , "Take good care of her tails. Dont let anything happen t-"
"Moooom" cream said abit embarrassed. "Sorry i cant help it, dear. Have fun!" Ms. Vanilla said her goodbyes before closing the door. "Hey tails!" "H-hey cream" tails stuttered."hey guys!"
"Hey cream!" "Whatever" "So are you guys dating or something?" Cream asked . I took a deep breath," No were not. Were just friends"i said "Sorry!" She apologized. "So where we going?" "I was planning on going to crazy burger down the block.." He said. "Sure why not?" Cream said. "Sounds cool"i said.
"I aint paying " shadow muttered crossing his arms. "Imma take that as a yes" tails said,"whatever lets you sleep at night"

The sweet smell of food invaded my nostrils and all of a sudden i was hungry."You guys wanna go sit at that booth?"I nodded and made my way towards it , my feet were killing me. I sat next to the window , tails and cream sat in one side while shadow sat next to me. A few minutes passed and a waitress came. She smiled "Its so cute watching couples eat together. Out on a double date?" The waitress smiled, "We aren-"
"Yea. Thank you for noticing it" Shadow said trying to end the conversation, the waitress sweatdropped. I glared at him and gave him a kick under the table. "What would you guys like to order?"
I told her what i wanted , "Yea what she said" shadow said.
I suddenly became aloof of the conversation for a good 5 minutes that i didnt notice she left. "Hey amy.."
"Huh?"
"You alright?" Shadow asked suddenly caring.
"Yeeaaaa...im alright..." i said surprised by how he was acting.
"Did sally come?" I heard cream ask tails,"Yea like always.."he said annoyed,"Ehh , not trying to be mean but i hope they break up soon so i can visit you. You know my mom doesnt like her either"she said. "Yea i know. I wish that too"
I felt sonething hit my cheek and i turned to face shadow,"Hey! what was that for?!" I growl and pull out the paper that got tangled in my quills. He did nothing but smirk. Yes he smirked. For like the first time."Thanks for visting crazy burger! Come again!"The waitress said before placing our food in the table and leaving. I waited till everyone got their food then got mine. "We should do this often" i blurted out. "Are you crazy? I have a life you know" His voice showing no emotion as usual he belittled everything around him, while he put his straw on his coke. I rolled my eyes, "Hey amy can i ask you something?" Tails said,"Sure!" I replied while putting a fry in my mouth. "Do you still like sonic? " I almost chocked on my fry ," Or do you like shadow now?"Tails teased. I swear i wanted the ground to swallow me whole right there in the spot. I was blushing hardcore, while tails , and, surprisingly ,cream laughed . "Hey tails, do you still like cosmo?"Shadow asked. What the heck was he doing?" Or do you like cream now"
Wow. He did not just save me from answering that question."L-lets talk about something else " i said both tails and i were blushing. "Youre welcome" Shadow muttered. "Hey where did cream go?" I asked. "She left to the restroom before shadow asked that question. Thank god" Tails sweatdropped. I ate my fries in silent before speaking again, "Does sally come recently?" I asked,"yea she would always come a bit before sunset usually when you guys left"he said, "Why didn't sonic go for you?" He blurted out staring at his food depressingly.What exactly did he mean by that?
"W-what?" I blurted out.
"You make such a cute couple and i never had a problem with you before. You know i always saw you as my future sister-in-law. Get me?"
"Uhh..kind of.."
"If sally and sonic somehow do get married, im moving out for sure"
I giggled.

After we left cream at her house we went walking to ours. "Bye Tails!" "Bye amy!" Tails said as he entered his house. It was awkward with just shadow and me , i mean why not? With the whole "you guys dating?" Nonsence. "Thanks for saving my butt from answering that question " i blurted out as we got closer to my house.
"Yea whatever"
"..."
"Tell me why you don't wnat anyone to see you wearing glasses.."
"Shhh! Someone might hear you!" I said .
"Rose its almost 12 , nobody is up right now" he said. I sighed and closed my eyes in fustration. We stopped in front of my house , shadow not letting me go in without answering his question.I opened my eyes and noticed he was still here , "Why are you still-" I stopped and blushed harcore as i notice him leaning in."S-shadow what are you doing?" I was hoping for our lips to crash in this instance but they didnt instead shadow suddenly stopped and moved back" ha, you actually thought i was gonna kiss you" He smirked , my face flushed with red. "I.. i..e- Screw you " i said. He smirked before chaos controlling to his house. "Stupid hedgehog" i muttered before entering my house.
