A/N- Play "Once Upon A Dream" by Lana Del Rea when you get to the ballroom scene. I just think it's perfect for the scene.

~Third Person~

The past few weeks both demons did everything they could to meet at night with Y/n, without letting the other one know. Ciel found himself waiting in his office past midnight so the likelihood of meeting the h/c haired maiden was higher. Sebastian would walk through the garden stopping at the white rose every night in hopes of seeing her admiring it once again.

Some nights, Y/n would be woken up by one of the two demons who demanded that she come with them for any reason they could find. Ciel once charted out the stars and found out when the moon would be the closest it's ever been in hundreds of years. He told her that he needed her to come and make him some tea to help him sleep. As they passed the first window however, she saw the floating white rock and almost dropped to her knees at the beauty she was seeing.

Sebastian had a much more different approach when it came to luring the young lady outside. He had brought a violin with him one night and played it outside her window. Y/n couldn't resist the music and so she followed it outside and began to dance again while he played.

Neither demon attempted to understand their desire for her presence and often lied to themselves about it. Ciel would brush it off as something to entertain himself with, while Sebastian simply assumed it was because you were female and he hasn't been around one that didn't trip constantly in quite sometime.

The horsemen herself was completely oblivious to her own emotions however. She found herself going out of her way to be around the two as much as possible. She would make tea with Sebastian in the morning because she knew that's what he must do. After that she would ask Ciel to play a game of chest, since she knew he wouldn't refuse an opportunity to win.

Yes, the past few weeks both demons subconsciously had begun to be fond of her, little did they know that it wasn't just the other demon they would have to worry about.

~Your POV~

I was holding a tray in my hand as I walked in Lord Ciel's study. It had his morning tea and scone on it, as well as mail that the Master has received. I placed the tray on his desk, and poured his tea into a glass cup placing it in front of him. I handed him the mail and then put the scone next to the tea. He drank his tea and his eye scanned over the continents of the letters. He seemed uninterested in most of them until he opened the last one.

He looked through it at least twice before, looking up and snapping his fingers. "Sebastian, it seems we've been invited to a ball." Ciel said as the butler walked into the room. Sebastian went to Ciel's desk and looked over his shoulder before letting a displeasured sigh escape his lips.

"Oh my, do you suppose we should bring Lady Y/n with us?" He then asked timidly as his eyes traveled over to me.

Ciel looked at me as well, before pinching the bridge of his nose "Yes, I want her there; even if it's his ball." He answered with a repulsed look on his face.

Sebastian simply nodded at our Master, and bowed before walking out the door when he heard the sound of flames flicker from the kitchen. "If you'll excuse me." He said before leaving Ciel and me alone.

"If I may , who is him Ciel?" I asked approaching his desk and putting my hands behind my back. I've never been to a ball before, not unless one of guest spent their last night there.

"Just a spoiled brat with a pest for a butler." Was his only reply before he went back to his paperwork signaling that our conversation was done. "Be ready by tomorrow evening, Y/n."
