Part 2

Eponine POV

I woke up in Enjolras' arms. He was awake and looking down at me. "What're you doing?" I asked him with a smile. He was still looking at me. He shrugged, "Watching you sleep". I think he just realized how weird that sounded out loud. He stopped holding me and turned in the bed so he was facing the wall, "sorry," he mumbled clearly embarrassed. I laughed, I wrapped my arms around his neck from behind, "Thats okay". Enjolras smiled in return. He turned so he was facing me and slowly wrapped his long muscular arms around my tiny waist; like he was cautiously waiting for me to slap him away, but I didn't. I hugged him back and we laid like that for a while. Our bodies pressed up against each other. I didn't have to look at Enjolras to know he was smiling. We shared another kiss before we got up to head to the ABC cafe for breakfast.

When Enjolras and I walked into the cafe, everyone stopped what they were doing and stared. What? Grantaire, even early in the morning, was drunk and walking funny. He made his was over to us and placed one hand on each of our shoulders, "I am agog! I am aghast! Do my eyes deceive me? Is this Enjolras holding hands with a girl?" Enjy and I blushed. We ordered our our pastries and tea and sat down in a private booth in the corner. We started talking...and then kissing...and then full on making out until someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around to see Cosette with tears in her eyes. She was my best friend that was a girl. I excused myself from Enjolras and we walked into a nearby alley outside were we were alone, "Cosette, what's wrong?" Cosette broke down into tears. I really felt for her. "Marius has been ignoring me. I don't think he loves me anymore". "What? Of corse Marius loves you! You two are meant for each other!". Cosette sniffled, "I don't think so". She fell into my arms and I held her while she cried; telling her it was okay and Marius and her were going to be together forever, but that wasn't going to be enough.
