~Stars~

It was late at night. Apollo Justice was lying on the grass, staring at the stars. He wore his deceased 'friend's' jacket to keep him warm, which wasn't actually working, but he didn't want to go back inside just yet.

It had been months since Clay Terran's death, and he still felt... empty. Yes, he had friends like Trucy, Mr. Wright, Athena, Ema, Klavier and Blackquill, but they could never mean as much to him as Clay.

Apollo lifted a hand and stretched it out to the stars. "Where are you know, Clay? Are you watching me?" He laid that arm on his forehead. "If only I had told him sooner..."

The young Justice actually had a crush on his best friend. He really wanted to tell him, but he didn't want to ruin their friendship. He planned on telling him after he got back from space, but Clay never really got to space. Well, at least not his earthly body. Maybe he became a star like what people tell their children?

He sighed. "I love you, Clay, and I'm sorry I hadn't told you sooner." He confessed, as if Clay was right in front of him. Justice spoke slowly and quietly, much unlike his normal self, where he would have the loudest voice in the courtroom.

"Polly? Polly!" A voice called out. Apollo looked to see who it was. It was Trucy! "Polly, we've been looking for you everywhere! Why are you..." She saw the jacket. "Oh. You're thinking about him again." Apollo sat up.

"Yeah..."

"I know you loved him, but please stop running off like this! Or at least tell us before you leave!" Apollo stood.

"Heheh, sorry." Trucy shook her head.

"Come on, Daddy's waiting somewhere for us. Lets go!" She ran off.

"Hey! Wait for me!" Apollo ran after her. When he had caught up to her, Mr. Wright had seen them and walked them home. On the way, Trucy went on and on about what she would do to him the next time he did this, but he didn't listen. He just stared at the sky on the way home.

Suddenly his shoulder felt some weight, as if someone had wrapped his arm around it. He turned his eyes to see who did it, and he saw Clay Terran! Apollo's eyes widened. He blinked and turned his head to see him. He was gone, but he still felt the weight on his shoulder. He then heard a very familiar voice.

"I love you, too, Pollo." Justice stopped walking. He looked around.

"Polly, are you okay?" Asked Trucy when she noticed he had stopped walking.

"Huh? Oh, uh, yeah." He continued walking again. He snuggled into the jacket, Terran's scent still lingering despite the many months he hadn't worn it. Apollo smiled. Clay was here.

Meanwhile, Clay, or should I say his ghost, was already hugging him while he floated behind him.

"I love you," he repeated "and I'll be waiting for you."
