It was a stormy winter evening, and Dan and Phil were spending it curled up in blankets watching their favourite movies, snacking on food, and just enjoying the moment. They were now watching their 4th movie of the night, and had moved on to their 7th bowl of popcorn. Dan had noticed Phil slowly moving closer to him, eyelids slowly drooping. He laughed and put the movie on pause.

"Why don't we call this a night?" Dan asked Phil, who was now practically using the Dan as a pillow. Phil simply gunted in response and snuggled in closer. Dan smiled down at his friend. Nobody should be that cute, he thought. He tried to sit upright without disturbing Phil's comfort, but failed in the process. He felt two slim arms wrap around his waist.

"Can we just stay here?" Phil whimpered, "for now?" Dan chuckled, admiring Phil's awkward position. His head was now laying side ways on Dan's lap, though his chest was flat on the couch. One leg was up against the back of the couch, with his foot sticking out of the blanket. Dan shook his head.

"How are you even comfortable?" He asked, still observing Phil. Phil flipped over, now being able to look up at Dan from his lap. He gave a small smile.

"Just because it takes you less than a second to get comfy doesn't mean you get to make fun of me." Phil pouted. Dan reached down and ruffled Phil's hair, earning a disapproving noise from the latter. They stay like that for a while, just listening to each others breathing patterns. Until Phil squirmed awkwardly.

"What's the matter?" Asked Dan.

"I have to pee."

"Well then go to the bathroom!" Dan nervously laughed.

"I'm too tired. Can you carry me?"

"Are you serious Phil?" Dan looked down into Phil's eyes, and realized that there was no way he was getting out of this. He sighed.

"How do you want me to carry you?" Dan asked in defeat. While Phil triumphantly grinned.

"I want to be like a monkey!" Dan stood up on the floor, while Phil stood on the couch. He wrapped his arms around Dan's neck and his legs around his waist, their noses nearly touching. Dan smiles and makes his way to the washroom. Once they reached their destination, Dan releases his grip on Phil's waist. But Phil stayed, latched onto his friend like a real monkey would.

"Phil, you need to get down."

"What if I don't want to?" Dan sighed, looking Phil straight in the eyes.

"Phil, are we going to have to do this the easy way or the hard way?"

"What's the easy way?"

"You letting go."

"Then the hard way."

"So I'm going to have to make you let go." Phil smiled and nodded at the younger.

"I guess so! But that wont happen 'cause you'll never never ever ever ever-" Phil was silenced by Dan's soft lips pressed against his own, Phil's eyes widened as he loosed his grip and fell to the floor. Cheeks matching the colour of his lips. Dan looked down at Phil and smirked.

"Told ya I'd make you let go."
