"Hey Jenny" Andrew called.
I pretended that I didn't hear him and kept on walking.
"Hey Jenny" he repeated.
This time I had no choice but to answer him.
"Oh hey, Andrew. What's up?"
"So.. Um.. About that night.. Um.. We didn't get to talk afterwards. It was just a mistake. I don't know what I was thinking."
"No. It's okay. I'm sorry that I took off without talking."
"We are still friends, right?" He hesitated while asking.
"Yeah, of course!"
"Great! I am having this party tonight. It's low key. Just a few friends. Will you come?"
"Yeah, sure."
"You can bring that friend of yours, Eleanor, right?" He winked before leaving.
His dirty blonde hair fell into his gorgeous dark blue eyes. I was looking at his perfect lips which opened in a beautiful smile revealing his perfect white teeth.
"Wow! Do I see Jennifer Walcott staring at Andrew Payne?" Eleanor said mockingly.
"Shut up!" I felt my cheeks burning. I must look stupid with those bright pink cheeks.
"Are you free tonight?" I asked. I already knew the answer to that question. Ella wasn't the very social kind. If she wasn't with me, she would definitely be with Mike, her boyfriend.
"Yeah."
"Andrew invited us to his party tonight. I was thinking we could stop by."
"Are you sure he invited 'US'?" She raised an eyebrow giving me a questioning look.
"Yeah, he said you can come."
"Alright then."

"Does this make me look fat?" I wore a red sequined top with blue skinny jeans and a leather jacket. I paired the look with my ankle boots from forever21.
"Are you going on a date?" My mom asked after looking at me.
"NO. Just tell me if I look fat."Do I look like I am going on a date? I thought. Even if I was I would never wear this to a date.
"You look fine." She continued reading her book after answering to my questions.
"Hey Jenny." Ella said after she came in.
"Does anyone knocks these days?" Mom said.
"Oh, hi Deb. I didn't know you would be home and Jenny doesn't opens the door for anyone so I let myself in." Ella looked at me before continuing, "Wow, Why are you so dressed up?" She winked at me.
"Just deciding what to wear tonight."
"Come on, I'll help you." Ella lead me to my closet. "What about this? It looks cute." She handed my sparkly black top. "Just go and try it on."
I took her order and did as she said.
"And wear these", she threw my grey skinny jeans at me.
"See, you look gorgeous." Ella said as soon as she saw me.
I wore my favorite pair of flat pumps before heading out towards Ella's car. Ella was on of the few kids who got a car before junior year of high school which made everyone, including me- I admit, jealous.
