Patrick was deliberately agitated by this girl, he thinks. But, why? He's probably not even part of what she's aware of. The girl is oddly dressed. Her outfit was unironed. She wears this colorful, blinding sweater. And under that reveals another sweater. She's strange, strange can't even handle how to define that girl.
He ignores the call. His index finger and thumb went up his chin. His lashes flutter in the moot point of going to see her again. Of course, he wouldn't wanna scare her away so he thinks harder.
Just thinking about her the other night made him wear his best suit today thinking she might wanna see him again, or maybe not? He felt helpless, disarmed and oblivious as he speaks to her. And yet he feigned arrogance, control and power. He looks down on her as she flips her black notebook.
She seemed nervous. And though she was twitchy, all squirmy and shaky underneath his unpleasant gaze, he was enticed. But what astonised him was that he was sentient. He wasn't bored of her.
"Mr. Del Greco," Paula washes his daydreams off as Paula enters.
"Someone's here to see you." His heart lunges off his chest as he assumes that it'd be her indeed. He inhales the word hope as he smiles foolishly making Paula cringe. Paula liked him even before, when she started working for him. But now' s got to be competing with Patrick's weirdest moment. On the camera? Yes, he smiles everytime but never alone.
Patrick slid his fingers through his hair, making a rapid fix. His smile grew wider. Is it her? Did she feel it, too? His scalp prickles of the thought and it generously produced him a tad of uneasiness.
"Who?" He asks, his blue eyes with a touch of green brightens as if the sun's rays's inside his office. Glazed with the authentic desire of seeing her again, he sits up straight.
"Parker, he says, sir." His shoulders sagged. Why? Why couldn't it be her? He thought. He raises his hand and tell her to tell Parker he's unavailable for the moment. Unavailable doing what? Ogling a mind image of a girl. What was her name? He wouldn't forget a fabulous girl's name so she probably didn't tell him and it dissapointed him, big time.
He saunters back to his desk. Making a full decision, he grabs his phone and dialed a number.
That won't be the last time that l'll see you. He beams in delight as he thought about her unnaturally blue mint green hair.
"Really weird," he mutters as he tried to subdue his glee.
