It had been a year since Saber's confession to Irisviel. Both were very happy, but both had felt sadness after the War, even though it was a year ago. Irisviel was the one who felt most of that sadness though. She missed her daughter Illyasviel so much and was wondering what she could be going through right now. Just the thought of it made Irisviel tear up and cry into Saber's broad shoulder.

After what Saber thought she wanted to do for her Princess tonight, she thought that she could plan out how to get Illya back for Irisviel. The King of Knights too missed that bundle of joy, even with Shirou around. After Shirou went off to bed, Arturia and Irisviel got ready.

Saber put on a nice woman's suit and tie outfit while Irisviel put on a beautiful flowing red dress that matched her sparkling eyes. When they went out shopping earlier that week, Saber had refused to buy a dress for herself. She has never really liked them due to it feeling "open." Her armor did contain a dress under it, but underneath the dress were tight-like things.

Irisviel got inside the car on the passengers side as Saber opened and closed the door for her with a bright smile. Saber then opened the door to the drivers side, closed it, buckled, and then started the engine. "I do hope Shirou will be alright while we are gone for the night," Irisviel said to Saber with a worried glance.

With a comforting smile Saber replied,"He will be fine. I've locked all the doors and made sure the security system was in check. If anything happens the alarm will go off and my watch will let me know.

"Irisviel giggled,"I love you and your carefulness."

"Hey, you were the one who wanted to make sure the house was safe in case of a situation such as this,"Arturia responded with a gentle smile as she steered the car.

About an hour later of driving, chatting, and giggling, they had finally arrived at their destination. It was a very fancy restaurant, the walls a glossy white marble and tall looming pillars. The inside consisted of the same walls, dim lighting, a soft deep red carpet, and tables decorated with a silky white cloth, a beautiful smelling Lily, and a bright candle. As well as a few wine glasses, a red neatly folded cloth, brightly shined silver ware, and silvery chairs with white cushions. To Irisviel it was breathtaking, not as breathtaking as Saber, but it was all very beautiful. Even while living in a mansion throughout most of her years with beautiful decorations, this was all fascinating to her.

She looked to Saber,"Wow Saber, thank you so much for taking me here. I'm at a loss for words."

Saber smiled,"No need my dear, no need to thank me." She took Irisviel's hand in her own, feeling her warm silky smooth skin as they walked to the waiters counter. Saber nodded at him,"Hello, I was the one who called earlier with a seat for two under Arturia Pendragon and Irisviel Von Einzbern."

He nodded with a genuine smile,"Right this way, m'ladies."

The two followed after him and they were led to a quiet area where no one was really around. The table had cards labelled with their names in which the waiter then took from out of their way. Saber pulled out Irisviel's chair for her and then sat in her own chair across from Irisviel. "I will bring out the chef's recommended meal and drink as requested from earlier," the waiter said with a bow. Before leaving the two, Saber gave him something and whispered something to him. He nodded and hid whatever Saber gave him before Irisviel could see.

"What was that about?" Irisviel questioned as the man left.

Saber smiled while staring at her,"You shall see my love." Irisviel gave her a last questioning look before the two began chatting once more, the sound of the violinists playing softly in the distance. After about 30 minutes or so of more talking and sipping of some delicious red wine, their food arrived. On the platter it consisted of a small meal, but it was delicately made with the most savory looking sauce and spices on it.

"Enjoy your meal," the waiter said before bowing once more and leaving the two to savor their food.

"Wow, this looks so amazing that I'm afraid to eat it," Irisviel claimed with amazement.

Saber had nodded in agreement,"I think the same way too. Everything looks very well done."

After the compliments, the pair each took a mouthwatering bite. Their tongues seemed to have exploded from the wonderful flavors that danced in their mouth. After a bunch of mouth watering bites, the food that was on the plates were now in their bellies. The waiter came back and took their plates, the two said their thank you's. Saber looked exceptionally happy and Irisviel saw a small blushing creeping across the Knight's face. "Saber dear, are you alright?"

Saber gave a nervous laugh,"Y-yes. I'm f-fine..."

Now Irisviel knew something was up and reached for Saber's hand with her own,"This isn't like you, laughing nervously and stuttering. Please tell me what's the matter."

Saber swallowed a lump in her throat,"I'll explain later, there is need to worry so much about me."
