Myra
After he left I had laid on the ground and stared at the concrete floor. The thought of killing myself to end this had crossed my mind multiple times. I couldn't do it, I promised my mom that one day I would return to her.
I was torn from my thoughts as I heard metal hitting concrete. It would be a lie to say I'm not scared, because I'm scared out of my mind. I looked up as my door was being opened. There he stood holding silver chains in his gloved hands.
Tyson looked at me with blank eyes and walked towards me. I shrunk to the wall and whimpered as his heavy footsteps neared me. He dropped the chains in front of me and stared at me with no emotions.
" What a pathetic little mate the moon goddess gifted me with," he growled in my face. With that he proceeded to chain me to the wall. The chains burnt me but I kept a brave face on. I couldn't let him see that I am hurting.
He growled at my lack of emotion and I let out a small chuckle.
"What? The big bad alpha can't handle not getting what he wants?" I look him in the eyes and in this money all fear was gone. "I despise you," is all I whispered and that made him come unglued.
One moment I'm smiling the next my cheek stings. He had smacked me, and I growled in anger.
" The moon goddess will make you pay for this, you know?" I hissed when I yanked against the chains. He gave me one last look and stormed out of my gated prison.
"You know you are the only rogue to ever fight the alpha?" A voice sad next to me. I jumped and turned to the left and there sat a male wolf.
"I doubt that is true but I will tell you the guy has anger issues," that made the wolf laugh.
"You are everything he hates and more," I looked around at all the other cells and noticed there was no other wolves.
"There is no one else here. Why?" I looked around in confusion.
"No rogue that has passed onto his territory lasts the day," he sighs.
"Then why are you here? And why am I?" I growl in frustration. He killed all those wolves most of which probably didn't have the choice of being rogue like me.
"I am a member of this pack, I disobeyed you alpha so I am paying the consequences," he stands up and walks toward my cell.
"What did you do?" He chuckled at my curiosity.
" I defended you. When the alpha brought you back I could tell that you were his mate. But, I could also smell the rogue on you. I told him he couldn't kill you. And he was a grey with me for defending you, so here I am with you," he seemed proud of himself.
"You didn't have to do that for me I am just a rogue," I looked warily at the ground.
"You are much more special now get some sleep, you have a big day tomorrow," I rolled over on my side millions of thoughts running through my head. I had to survive I'm a survivor.
**********
My cell door slammed against the wall making me jump to a sitting position. I looked up and saw Tyson standing in the opening. I growled as he neared me. He walked to the wall and unchained me.
I looked up at the small hole in the wall and saw it was still dark so I turned my head in confusion.
He didn't say anything just kept untying me. Once the chains were off I felt the tiredness wash over me. I looked at my wrists and saw they were burnt badly but my wolf would heal them.
"Come on runt," was all he said to me so I stayed on the floor. "Myra let's go," I froze and whimpered. It took me back to a memory.

"Myra let's go!" My brother yelled at me as the hunters neared. I can take them I thought to myself. My brother kept yanking on my arm but I refused to leave. "Myra if we don't go now we will be killed."
The hunters neared and I felt my adrenalin rush hitting me. I saw them they were 200 yards out. They kept getting closer and I knew it was do or die.
The first hunter reached me and I attacked changing midair. One down ten to go, I thought to myself. Then I heard a blood curdling scream. I turned as fast as I could and there lay my brothers lifeless body.
He had a knife through his chest and his eyes were blank. In that moment of weakness I was blindsided. A hunter from the side stabbed me. I growled and attacked. I went crazy and by the time I was done eleven bodies laid lifeless around me.
I ran to my brother and dropped to his side and let out a cry. He was only ten years old.
^^^^^
"Myra!" I was shook from my memory and I felt something wet drop to my hands. Tears, the tears of a lost soul. In this moment I felt angry and I lashed out. But I remembered the bodies and blood and held my ground.
"Some of the female wolves are to give you a bath," was all he mumbled and several female wolves walked in carrying a giant wash bucket and other shower contents.
I removed my pants and I froze remembering the scars that ran across my back from the hunters. I shuddered and continued undressing not caring that Tyeson was there. I had my back to him but I heard his breath he sucked in.
"What happened?" He muttered as he stepped closer to me. I growled at him and he stopped. He quickly ordered the other wolves I leave.
"Who did this to you?" I chuckled at how caring he sounded.
"Wouldn't you like to know," he went to reply but I cut him off," doesn't matter they're all dead now. I smiled a weak smile at the memory.
In that moment I thought I saw care in his eyes and I felt a pull towards him but I couldn't.
