Chapter 1-Phone Calls & Plans

*Harry's POV*

Today is the last day of our world tour for Take Me Home. I finally will get to go home to Holmes Chapel and see my family and friends. And I will get to see Hailee.

Gemma called me earlier with news about Hailee. I am so heartbroken about it.

*Flashback; 3 hours ago*

I started to make my coffee with the old coffee maker from the hotel's lobby in the hotel her in LA. I am usually one of the last up, but today I am excited. Even though I hate the last day of tours, I get to go home. I get snapped out of my thoughts from my iPhone buzzing in my pocket.

Incoming call: Gem(:

I quickly answer it and realize its about 11 at night in England. What it she doing up at 11?

"Hey Haz." I can hear the sadness in her voice.

"Hey Gem, what's wrong?" I said to her.

"I got some heartbreaking news for you.." She said.

"What is it?" I said with millions of things running through my mind. I look up and see Lou standing there, looking at me confused.

"It's about Hails" she said, I can tell she's crying.

"What's wrong with Hails?!" I said, looking up at Lou. He is the only one in the band that knows I love Hailee. We dated for awhile but we decided to stay friends. Now we are closer then ever.

"She has.. Cancer Haz. She only has a year to live. You've have to come back Haz. She needs you more then ever. Her chemo starts on Monday. She wants you there. She asked for you first." She said now sobbing.

I felt a tear fall down my cheeks. " I'll be there right after this concert is over. I am by going to the teen choice awards. I am coming straight home. Ill book a flight for right after te concert. Ill be there as soon as I can." I tell her. I see Lou looking at me now full in confused. He knows I've been waiting for the award show since we got in LA. But Hailee is more important.

"Okay. Thank you Haz. I love you." Gemma said.

"I love to too, Gem. And tell Hails ill be there as soon as I can. Tell her I love her." I said. Gem also knows I am still in love with her.

"Okay. Bye Haz. Good luck. See you soon." I say my goodbyes and hang up.

Now I am full in crying.

Lou runs over to me and pulls me into his arms. I see El be hide him, with a sad look on her face. Her family is friends with Hails family, so she probably knows.

"I am going home right after the concert Lou." I told him, in between my sobs.

"I understand. El was wondering if she could go back with you? She wants to see Hails too." He said.

"Yes of course Eleanor."

I get on my phone and look up flights to London's airport.

Flight number: 273

Departing LAX: 12:25 a.m

Arriving in London: 12:42 p.m

Seat number(s): First class; 1C and 1D

One stop: New York

I click confirm and tell Eleanor when we leave. I slowly walk back up to my room and fall back asleep.

*End of flashback*

I have finished packing all my stuff and is ready to leave. Eleanor and I are leaving to the airport right when the concert is over.

Now we are in the tour bus, in our way to the concert.

"Harry and Eleanor, I am going to send one guard with you guys to the airport and once you get into London, you'll have a car waiting with a guard. The guard Will be waiting at your gate." Paul said looking at me and Eleanor.

"Alright, thanks Paul." He welcomes me and then we arrive at the arena.

"To sound check guys!" Paul yells.

"Let's go!" We yell. And I just kinda stand there, still with tear lines down my cheeks.

This is going to be a long day.
