When I first met Angela she was humming a song I didn't know. I politely tapped her shoulder and asked if I could sit by her.
When we got into highschool I asked her what she was humming she said it was her favorite song at the time. The end what what it was called.
Years later when she proposed to me she sang the song she was humming "if you marry me would you bury me would youcarry me to the end...?" And then we got married.
She told me one night that if I die first she would kill her self to be with me but if she dies first that I should carry on.
She died August 24 2013. Her last words were " i'll leave you a phantom to lead you in the summer" and I cried. I didn't leave the house for months. The only time I left was for her funeral. Her gorgeous black and electric blue streaked hair was neatly curled and her eyeliner wasn't on as heavy but she wore the dress she chose a year ago and she told me she wanted to be buried in it it was electric blue ( her favorite color) with black lace around her waist.
This is how my speach went:
" we would always communicate in song titles so I want my last thing said to her in that way. Angela with out you is how I disappear. I wild say I'm okay but I'm not okay ( I promise) and my darling thanks for the memories. But trust me this is gospel ms.Jackson. well in the end this was our rebel love song. So now go, and join the black parade."...
That night I joined her
