Teagan's POV

A week went by and I completely ignored Houston. And I mean, can you blame me?

I stood in my backyard with my dogs, throwing the mini Frisbee back and forth. Then I heard a nock at the door.

"I'll get it!" I heard my aunt Monica say. She'd been staying with us for a month while she got her self together.

I didn't think much of it, until I heard a deep voice come from the front door.

"Hi, I'm here to see Teagan". What the-

"Teagan! There's s boy here to see you!" My aunt called from the front door. I had been avoiding him for a week, hiding from him even. Anything so that I didn't have to confront him and now there he was at my door. Fuck.

But I did the thing I knew I should do. I went to the front door.

"Well, say hi teagan" Monica looked from me to him, him to me.

"You brought flowers?" I asked him. That was a little overboard, but they were my favorites. Daisies.

"Yeah, um-"

"How did you know they were my favorites?"

"Well, I know now". He didn't smile, just stood on our doorstep watching me contemplate letting him in.

"Why don't you come inside" just as i was about to slam the door in his face, Monica ivited him in. Oooooh boy.

"So why are you here" we sat on the back porch drinking the lemonade Monica made us, and throwing Frisbee for the dogs. Well, mostly me, the dogs didn't really like him.

"I honestly just want you to forgive me. I'm not usually a horny mess like that but it just happened. Your profile picture doesn't have your face in it. I didn't get your name on the first day. But I knew you were special, before all that happened. I'm really sorry Teagan".

"Okay". It was silent for a while, just us the and the sun going down on a Friday evening.

"Teagan" he said. I looked over to him, he lend in and kissed me.

We pulled back, and I was completely stunned. I bet I looked like a dear in the headlights.

"I- I'm sorry"

"No more apologies. Just, dont." I looked down.

"I should get going, can I stop by tomorrow? "

"It's a free country" I said dryly. Houston smiled, and let himself out.
