Y/n pov:
Gravity Falls. That's where you parents decided to spend the summer, in the lame town of gravity falls. You're parents where always out as usual and it was getting hotter and hotter by the second. So you started to wander around the woods looking for a nice shady spot, until you stumbled upon a rive. You found a shady missy rock and decided to just relax for a bit. Maybe about 20 minutes past until you heard footsteps you looked around but no one was there. You closed your eyes and tried to forget what had happened.

Dippers pov:
It was the hottest day of the year I decided to go out to my secret spot and research some of the things I had seen in the journal but not in real life. The mystery I decided was this squid that could shape-shift into any thing with a taste of there DNA. So I started off but when I came upon my spot I froze. I saw this beautiful girl, more stunning than anyone I have ever met. I shook the thought out of my head because I knew if my girlfriend Pacifica found out she would kill me.

You relaxed until you heard the footsteps once again. You turned and looked through the trees to see a boy with a pine tree hat. "Ummmmm... Hello!" You dared to say, the bot looked at you and slowly made his way over. " Hello my name is Y/N, I'm spending my summer here, do you want to be friends?" The boy looked shy but he responded " I'm dipper, dipper pines. Hey by any chance do you like mysterys?" You looked at him stunned you always wanted to solve a mystery " I love mysterys!!!!" You spoke. He smiled and sat down next to you.

When Y/n said she liked mysterys I was over joyed. I finally had someone I could talk to with out getting called a dork. But I knew that I couldn't stay with her long or Pacifica will get suspicious but I don't think I cared now. Other than my family I had someone to mystery hunt with!
