Imagine going to a dinner party/award show with Colton
-----

"Are you ready yet, Hun?" He asks popping his head into the door way.

"Well yes, I am... But David won't put his shoes on! Annabel should be sitting on the couch downstairs." You say attempting to chase David (your four year old son) around your room.

You and Colton have two beautiful children: Annabel and David. Annabel is four.

"Here... Why don't you go get yours and Annabel's coats on? I'll deal with him." He smiles.

You smile back leaving the room.

As you reach the bottom of the stairs, your daughter is sitting on the couch with her hands neatly folded in her lap.

"Anna why don't you get your coat on, okay?" You ask her.

She nods before walking to where she always lays it upon entering the door.

You help her slide on the black pea coat before giving her a bright smile and a high five.

"Is daddy going to win an award again mommy?" She asks in curiosity.

"I don't know... But we always hope so." You smile.

She laughs as you begin to fix an out of place bobby pin in her hair.

"You both look gorgeous... You ready to go?" Colton asks with your son in his arms.

"I've never been more ready in my life." You laugh picking up your daughter and leaving out.

"Colton! Caitlin!" You heard endless class for the two of you as you walked along the carpet.

"You'll get you pictures boys, relax." Colton partially jokes.

As you two arrive on the usual photo off area of the event, you hand the attendant there your gaughters coat as you set her down to walk on her own.

This usually was her and your son's favorite part and that was always clear.

"You okay?" Colton whispers to you.

"I guess so." You mumble.

"Perk up, Hun." He mumbles before kissing your cheek. "The press loves that pretty little smile." He says in an Elvis Presley tone causing both you and your children to laugh.

"America's sweetheart family!" You hear someone call out.

You laugh as you're all ushered along to you table/ seats.

"Kids you stay here... I need to talk to mommy alone." Colton says practically dragging you away.

"What's going on with you? Everything was fine before we got here!" He says in complete worry.

"I don't think that I'll ever be used to this..." You mumble. "What do you mean?" He asks.

"I don't fit in with these people and I never have." You groan.

"Yes!" He says immediately. "You do. You're just as talented, and gorgeous, and happy as the rest of them. You've got two beautiful children and me. Our money and our clothes do not define us. It's what we do with the things we have that defines us and you alway do the thing. Always." He says as his gaze never leave you.

"You are where you deserve to be and for that I will always truly love you." He smiles before kissing you.

"You always know how to make me feel better..." You mumble with a smile as you play with his tie.

"We've been married for three years. Of course I do... I'll make you feel even better when we get back home." He jokes with a wink and
Kissing you again.

You laugh as you hear a microphone turn on where you once were.

"We'd better get back. It's starting." You smile.

"So am I." He says before hitting you on the butt on the way back inside
