I laughed as I sat up. The other girl sat up too and I noticed she cut her cheek during the fall. "Well I can't possibly say that wasn't fun." I laughed picking my glasses up off the floor. They were deffinitly broken. I tossed them down the stairs as she studied me.
"So I'm Kokoa Akihime and I've been here for about 3 months." I smiled at my accomplishment. But my smile had no meaning in it as I thought of Kensuke.
"Well I'm Lana Sky and I've been here for 5 minutes." I smiled and layed back down. "So I know this is an awkward question but. Why do you have two different eyes."
Its kind of weird. Everyone always judging you and looking at you strangely because you have one gold eye and one blue.
My smile faded as I thought of how I got my gold eye. I sighed a little. "Let's see."
I was about seven years old. Me and my mom were on our way home from the store when a lady jump in front of our car on the highway. We pulled over so we didn't hit her and she jumped into the car. She held a knife to my throat.
She yelled at my mom to drive faster. I was so scared and confused my eyes glazed over. All I could hear was my mom crying and sirens behind us.
"OH SHIT!" Was the last thing I heard as our car swurved over the edge and flipped as we fell down. When I opened my eyes again I could hear my moms faint words. "Kokoa...I love...you..." And with that the paramedics came. The woman's knife stabbed my mom in the back of the kneck and the glass from the windows cut her face.
A peice of glass from the window broke off stabbing me in the right eye. The paramedics announced that my mom was dead and rushed me to the hospital giving me a glass eye.
"And now I'm here with you." I smiled glancing at Lana. She looked like she was on the verge of tears. "Sadly I know what its like to loose someone to. I lost someone also...someone I only met when I was young.
"Who?" I asked my curiosity killing me. "My cousin Sachiko."
