A crease of the brow is a clue to a life
that holds secrets and feelings
to all who may find
That this world is not easy nor is it nice
but instead it holds things that cause lots of strife.
The brow of a shepherd will show many ways
of how he lead his stock through all of the days.
Along the paths of green and the winding roads
He created many stories for children to be told.
The brow of an inventor will portray him as a thinker
and of how his brow furrows above his eyes as he tinkers.
Others call him insane, his work they would probably ban
If it were so that his inventions weren't of any help to man.
The brow of a farmer will show all of the fields
and all of the land that turned him to steel.
And crops that he planted and the dirt that he plowed
Along with every lifetime of the seeds he sowed.
The brow of a smith will show different tools
and a head that proves that he isn't a fool.
It was the hard work of shaping the mightiest of swords
that drove him to beat his rivals using only his words.
The brow of a king will show how a crown
is not always gold and can drag a man down.
Because the saying, as it goes, "not all is gold"
Assures him of certain truths that have never been told.
So if there's ever a need to find a man out,
You look at his face and you look all about.
Because if you look hard enough for this little clue,
you'll see the sorts of things that will make a person blue.
You should look for the brow that is creased with a line
so you can see troubles that have been caused by time.
Because time alone can show you the feelings felt
and only then can you realize the hand you've been dealt.
Your hand may be good or it may be terribly sad,
but just know that your brow won't look all that bad.
People may look and people may stare...
But just know that they're only searching for the story that's there.
