Crunching Time *Chapter 5*

Katherine POV

A week has past since my family and I had arrived at Winterfell. I spent those days helping Annabell make her new dress while finishing my four I had been working off and on for a few months. I also spent my time with Rebekah watching Robb and Jon do their sword practice. But this morning I slept in a bit which I guess was a big mistake.

Rebekah came storming in my room and jumped on the bed. "Whatttt" I said not really asking "You slept in way to late the boys are going to practice and their teaching Brann today." Rebekah exclaimed. I sighed getting up out of bed. " Give me a little time to get ready, okay?" I said "Hurry dear sister the boys a wait!" She said smiling. I tiredly laughed has she left. The boys never waited for us really, a few days back Robb had invited us to watch their practice. I don't know why but he did. Ever since then Rebekah has made it a thing to never be late to their practice.
I grabbed a rag and wet it cleaning myself off a bit. Then I put on a clean slip and Put on my dress with a cloak (In the picture). Then I walked out to be greeted by my happy sister. We walked down to where the boys trained. "You really have a thing for Jon don't you?" I asked. She frowned at the comment while we arrived next to boys. But we sat a bit a way. It looked has though Robb and Jon were attempting to teach Brann how to work a bow and arrow.
"I gave up on Jon when we came here.." Rebekah slowly said in a shush tune. "And why is that sister?" I asked surprised "Jon has lost a part of him threw the years even you have seen. Me and Jon talked a few nights back.... He told me that he is going to to the wall where he will become part of the nights watch." She said sadly "We have become closer has friends and I won't ignore him because of his choices but I need to move on and I have." She said "And who have you moved on to?" I asked "Theon.." She said so soft I could barely hear her. " No Rebekah out of all the people Theon is not the way to go he will break your heart." I said in a disapproving but concerned tone. "Then its a mistake that I have to make then. I'm not saying I will wed him but I want to see where it may go." She said "Just be safe my love, Greyjoy does not have the best rep for woman and I never want to see you on that list of his." I said " Well at least if I have a basterd mother and father won't leave me in the streets." She joked "But others will not be so open to that my dear sister remember that." I said seriously "Don't worry Katherine if he breaks my heart you may break him" She said "And I will follow through on that." I said smirking. I really disapproved with my sister's choice. She was much like Sansa when it came to some people. She never saw the bad that was shown right in front of her and I hoped her and Sansa didn't have to learn the hard way.
We watched has Brann failed each time at hitting the target. While Robb,Jon and Theon laughed until they saw Lord and Lady Stark laughing. I felt bad for him, the poor boy was a climber not a archorer. He needed someone to guide him nor laugh when he messed up. I walked over to him. "Lift your arm up higher and don't pull back too much." I said. He followed my advise and shot and hit almost dead on. But he frowned "Don't frown little wolf its takes practice and dedication to get it right" I assured him and he smiled at me. "Thank you Lady Katherine" He said "Kat call me Kat" I said smiling at him and he returned it back. "There is no way a girl like you should know how to shot an arrow" Theon said. I turned towards him. What did my sister see in him? "You want a bet Greyjoy?" I said with bit of addituted. "Sure why not bet with the Katherine Mikealson, who is told to always keep her promises I'm sure a bet is the same." He said cocky "Okay Greyjoy if I hit that target dead on you are never allowed to make your sexual desires on my sister unless you are wed." I said. I knew he knew of Rebekah liking him because of the looks he gave her through out Branns practice that I tried to ignore. Brann was to the side now with my sister and brother Nik who appeared and Robb and Jon. "And if you miss?" He says "Anything you wish." I said knowing he will lose the bet. " Well Ive heard that a certain Mikealson is at a crunch time to get married.... If you miss you wed me." He said. I looked at him in shock. How dare he even say that after he knows my sisters feeling while she stood right before us. I turned around got an arrow and aimed and shoot. It hit dead straight in the middle. I smirked and turned to Theon. "We made a bet, you lose so keep your paws off my sister." I said and turns back towards my sister and brother who both had a smirk on their face. They both knew I was very protective of my family and they all grew to accepting what I would do if someone ever tried to or could hurt my family. I also saw the Starks including Jon laughing at Theon. I was pretty please with myself because even if I was at me crunch time for finding someone I would never want that someone to be Theon.
