Liking The Bad Boy

Chapter 8

As Alec and I leave school hand in hand heading towards his car.

"Dude we need to be more of a couple" I say to him as he closes his car door.

"Well you can start by not calling me dude and the kiss on the cheek was good today at lunch."

I smirk at him and say. "And what do you know about relationships Mr. Player?"

"Lots of stuff actually, I could tell you where uncomfortable with my arm around you and that girls like being treated with respect and it's the little things that matter." Wow he's right.

I smile him in return as we pull up In his drive way. "Hey Alec...? What was it you where going to tell me before I killed the frog?" I tried not to laugh because I can't take the killing the frog seriously anymore.

"Nothing it doesn't matter anymore." He says and I don't push it.

I go up to the room I'm staying in and put my stuff away.

I walk across the street to see. If Jessica is home and she is.

"Ok seriously tell me everything" she coos dragging me up to her room.

I make up a sly lie because she can't know yet. I tell her that we just got close like how we all used to be and he told me that he liked me and I liked him back and boom.

"Well good I'm happy! Maybe we can get our friends group back together with you me Dylan Alec and Jordan." She said happily clapping her hands together.

...Maybe.

We chat some more and order pizza.

"Omigosh! I have an idea!" She yells.

"What?" I groan.

"Let's invite over the squad and have a movie night!" She squeaks.

Hmm it couldn't be that bad I mean it could start the end to our rivalry or end up in a blood bath.

"Done. I texted Dylan and Jordan now you can text your boy toy and keep it PG here."

I roll my eyes and send a text to Alec.

Wanna have a movie night? -M

Wow I thought the boy was supposed to plan the 1st date but sure -A

You idiot it's not just gonna be us...come to Jessica's at 7 and get your boyfriend act on Mr. Player ;) -M

I huffed.  we got blankets and popcorn transforming Jessica's living room in to a theater.

"Sooo...Um Jordan told me he likes me..." She said nervously.

"WHAT?!  Sense when and don't you like him...?" I start bombarding her with questions.

"A few days ago...but I want is to try as friends because we all don't really get along, that's why I wanted the movie night and you dating Alec helped a lot."

I smiled at her and gave her a hug.

The doorbell rang and we greet them all.

We all got settle down after arguing about what movie to watch for a good 30 minutes. Jess didn't want a scary movie and the boys didn't want a chick flick but everyone wanted comedy except Alec he wanted action so we settled on the Avengers.

I was sitting super close to Alec with a blanket over us and Jess and Jordan where hard core cuddling and Dylan was....Alone.

Alec wrapped his arm around me pulling me closer so my face was leaning against his chest. He smelled good.

This is the weirdest thing I have ever done.

One the movie ends I jump right off of Alec.

"So eager to get away from me princess?" He smirks. I shoot a glare at him.

It's pretty late now so we kick all the boys out so we can go to bed.

"Wow honestly you and Alec are so cute! You need to go to prom with him!!" I groan.

Prom. It's a few months away it's in April ugh Prom. I only went once and that was last year and I didn't even have a date. It was like a normal school dance but there's the dinner before then the actual dance and After prom which is the most fun.

"I don't even wanna think about it." I roll over and fall asleep.

The next morning Jessica and I make pancakes, well we tried to. We gave up after burning them.

I really don't want to go to school tomorrow that means more couple stuff with Alec...yay. Note Sarcasm.

I walk back over to Alec's house and his mom is in the kitchen making lunch and Zach is playing video games with Alec.

Alec's dad and sister are out at the park.

"Maddie, your mom called saying she will be here on Tuesday around  noon to pick you up" Alec's mom told me.

I nod at her. I miss my parents a lot but I hope they got some good photos. Once when I was younger they went to Rome and they took me and the pictures they got where amazing. Now that I'm older they take me on less trips since I'm more 'needy'. 

"Yo princess lets go out! If we are gonna act like a couple we need to get more comfortable around each other and not to the point where we wanna rip eachothers heads off" Alec tells me.

I grab my vans and slip them on and we head out to Alec's car.

"Where are we going" I ask?

"Surprise" he says and then turn his attention back to the road.

I look out the window and I doze off.

"Babe wake up we are here." Alec said.

I throw my hand on his face. "Is there a snooze button and don't call me babe."

I get out the car and I see a blanket out in the middle of this field of wild flowers. Wow.

"Dude...is this like a date?" I ask

"Yep"

"Who knew we would go on a date?" I ask

He mumbled something but I couldn't tell what it was.

Somethings up with him and I'm gonna figure it out.
