WAKING UP

Draco's POV

"Hermione! Hermione wake up!"
I turned around to see Voldemort and the rest of his army, except my mother, laughing.
I grab my wand and prepare a spell.

"Don't you dare, Draco" Bellatrix said.
"I don't? STUPEFY"
It hit Bealltrix, and I ran back to my classmates. Ron held Hermione as she still was unconscious.

"Wait guys, look over there." Seamus whispered to Blaise, and some around him could also hear him, including me.
Seamus pointed over to Hagrid. Something was moving. It was Harry!
He started running and casting spells. Voldemort was furious and started attacking us all. Many death eaters leaved and the rest started battleing.
Voldemort followed Harry, and the rest of us took care of the others.
I ran over to Ron to help him get Hermione inside.

"It's very brave of you Draco" Ron said.
"What do you mean?" I asked curiously.
"The fact that you abonded Voldemort and his army."
"It was nothing, I had to do what was right". I said while thinking about the fact that Granger told me she needed me.

She suddenly woke up.
"Ron, Draco, what happened, where am I?" She asked.
"Relax 'Mione, you're safe", Ron said with a calm voice, while inside of me the panic was just getting bigger.
"I want to help" she said with a determined voice.
"You can't Granger, you need to relax" I said.
"No Draco, I don't want to help, I need to help."
"But 'Mione, you ne-"
"No but Ron, I shall help!"
"Bloody hell, she is stubborn"
I laughed.
"Well, what are you boys waiting for? Let's go!"
She was already ahead of us. We started running.
"Wait, Granger!"
She stopped.
"What, Malfoy?"
"Where excactly are we running to?"
"We have to find the damn snake and get rid off it"
"Why"? I asked.
"It's the last of the horcruxes." Ron said.
"Okay..." I didn't really know what they were talking about but I didn't bother to ask.
We ran for around 4 more minutes and there it was. The snake was huge. I've seen it before, because Voldemort always brought it with him under the meetings.

"Ron, watch out!"
Ron turned around and saw the snake. He threw diffrent spells at it, but nothing happened.
"It dosen't look like normal spells work" I said.
"We have to find out what we can do to get rid of it." Hermione said.
"What? Haven't Granger done som reasearch about it? That's new". I said and smirked.
"There's no time for teasing now, Malfoy!"

We ran to the library.
"Do you know what book to look for?" Ron asked.
"No, I'm not even sure that it stands in a book." She answered.
"Let's hope so" I said nervously.

As we talked, I noticed that the snake was following us.

"Erhm, guys?"
"Not now Draco, I'm trying to read here"
"Erhm turn around"
"What?!"
As they turned around, I could see the fear in their eyes.
We all fell down, and it was so close, I could even see the evil in it's eyes. Neville suddenly attacked it from behind with the sword of Gryffindoor. We all breathed out.

(Later, after Harry have defeated Voldemort, you have all seen the movie or read the book, this is just my Dramione version of it and I wanted it to be a lot like the real ending of the battle. The rest of the story will all be my ideas)

I sat down. It was finally over. We could all relax. While I was thinking I notcied a shadow over me. I turn around to see Hermione standing there. She was actually really pretty I thought. What am I thinking? Am I changing? I kind of hope so.

"I guess I should thank you." She said and smiled.
"No, I'm the one who should thank you."
"For what?"
"For what you said when I was about to go over to the death eaters."
"Oh, it was nothing" she said.
"It did matter, didn't it?" I asked with a insecure voice.
"What do you mean?"
"You said it was nothing, but it did mean something to you, right?"
"Yeah Draco, of course it does"
"I hope you know I'm grateful for you saving me."
"I know now". I answered.
"What did acutally happend? She asked. I guess she never heard the whole story.
"Well, you do remember Bellatrix with the knife?"
"Yeah, it was terrifying".
"Well, I threw a spell that made the chandelier fall down, as in that moment she lost her grip and you fell in my arms. I gave Harry and Ron their wands and while they attacked the death eaters who was there, even my mom and dad, I got you out of there and all the way to the hospital wing."

She then suddenly hugged me. Really tight.

"Thank you so much Draco, thank you, thank you".
I didn't say anything, I just hugged her back.
