CHAPTER 1:kidnapped

The man yelled while banging on yhe door "your under arrest mr.smith!!" Mr.smith looked at star and said "listen to me star,you have to go to your mother and tell her that i am gone. I am no longer coming back to see the next sunrise or the next dinner. I have paid my time by taking care of you. Now the price is to sacrifice myself and give away the daughter i love" he threw a key that had a heart on the top and a name on the side that said smith. She looked at him with tears in her eyes. The door was almost broken while the two men in the front mumbled words that u couldnt understand. Star ran quickly out the back door and into the woods. Her father started to cry and he whispered to himself "farewell my dear child" The two men opened the door and picked up mr.smith and beat him to death. He fell on the ground with his last breath and he looked at the direction his daughter went then he quietly closed his eyes. The two men looked down at him and then laughed evily. One of them asked "hey cal, what should we do with the body?" Cal looked at his friend rufus then looked around "i dont know, put him in his bed and put the covers over the brute so nobody sees him" rufus then asked "and the blood sir?" Cal looked at the blood and shrugged "not our problem, its not like anyone is going to find him, he is in the middle of nowhere, he is in the middle of his own troubles" Cal walks out of the back door and he looks around. Rufus follows amd sees footprints "cal look" Cal looks down and starts to feel curious. "Who's footprints are these?" rufus responded "i dont know" Cal asked "did mr.smith have any children or any family living with him?" rufus nodded "one of the women in the village said that mr.smith has a daughter" Cal looked to the direction where star ran amd he laughed "so... Mr.smith had a daughter and he kept it a secret from us. Even from his own brother." Cal walked away and went on his horse. Rufus ran to him and asked "your not going to get her?" Cal shook her head "why should i?" rufus looked at him "what if she tells on us and we will be behind bars, eating nasty rice and beans,sleeping in beds that have nothing but metal on them" Cal refused "she is a little girl, its not like she is going to get an army of men to kill us" rufus thought for a moment then he nodded "your right" Cal took his hand and helped him on the horse and they both went away in the woods. Meanwhile,star peeked behind a tree and she then looked around to see if it was safe to get out of the trees
