The driver pulled off as they continued to stare at one another. Zelda looked at the man across from her and with all the negative feelings she had, she still felt that stir in her stomach only he could create. His piercing stare always penetrated her depths. She looked at this man and she remembered the well-toned European basketball superstar. He swept her off her feet all those years ago. And here he was in the flesh within arm's reach. She didn't notice as her breathing begins to shallow and her heart rate rose as he adjusted to look at her fully.

As he turned in his seat, Sydney looked at her scanning her entire body. She had toned up some and her hair was different but her face was just as beautiful as he remembered it. It was the same face he saw in his dreams. That summer in Greece always remained with him and he always wanted to find her but all his attempts to contact her were rebuffed. He never stopped thinking about her and he always wondered where she was and what she was doing. He reached out and grabbed her hand. Zelda's breath shortened as electricity ran through her body.

"So where are you going?" he asked her.

"I was headed home."

"Oh okay."

"What about you, Boss?" she asked as she mocked how he was referred to by everyone.

"I had just left a meeting with some officials from Hillsborough County in Brickell. They came down to complete a deal. So where is home?"

"North Miami Beach."

"And how is the fiancé?" he asked her as he rubbed the diamond ring on her left hand. She looked down and saw that she was still wearing the ring that Mark gave her. She only wore it for appearance sake as it looked nice on her hand. But the intentions behind it were for naught.

"Fine I guess. How are your women doing?" she asked, not concealing her contempt. Sydney smiled as he knew what she was getting at.

"I have no women. The only woman I had never tried to contact me or return my calls." Zelda pulled her hand away. She felt the urge to argue with him, but she ate the mean words that wanted to come out.

"Whatever... look this is my address. Could you tell your driver to take me and my car there please?" she asked as she handed him her license and turned her face toward the window away from him. Sydney took her license and handed to the driver. He gave him the instructions and he returned the license to Sydney, whom then returned it to Zelda. She accepted it and placed it back in her purse. They rode the rest of the way from the mechanic to drop off her car to her condominium. Sydney got out and walked her to the front door.

"Thank you, Boss. I appreciate your help again," she said as they reached the lobby of her building.

"Well I would like your phone number to catch up with you. I hope your fiancé won't be too mad if I call."

Zelda laughed as he flashed a smile. She grabbed his phone from him and put her number in the contacts. He called her immediately so his number could be in her phone as well. "Bye Danny... bye Zack," she said. "Danny I will make sure that my friend calls you." Zelda turned and walked into her building. Sydney watched her as she stepped. The sway in her hips had him hypnotized. When she was out of view, he turned and saw Zack and Danny looking at him with huge smiles on their faces.

"Man, Playa Supreme finally got a chink in the armor," Zack said as Danny laughed. Sydney shook his head as he knew what was coming. He went back to the truck as they all drove towards the condo.

Zelda walked with an extra twist in her step. When she reached her front door, she walked inside and went into her room and locked herself inside. She sat on the bed and in a fit of rage; she grabbed a pillow and covered her face with it as she screamed into it. She screamed and screamed and screamed until she couldn't anymore. The laughter and twist in her hips was a façade. Every minute she was with him, the pain she felt all those years ago came rushing back to her. The heartbreak, the abandonment she felt when he went back to Greece and never came back for her. With all his resources he could've found her. She took out her phone and called Andrea.
