Chapter One
A herd of zebra were grazing on the grassand. When Chime, a baby zebra, walked off towards his own patch of grass. He saw a white figure next to him. He looked, and saw a handsome old scarred male lion. His image was wavering. He had scars over his face. His mane was scuffed. Chime froze, thinking this lion was aout to attach. But instead the lion strode off towards the trees, before the woods his image disapeared into thin air. Chime turned and ran back to his mom scared, but curious.
Chapter Two
Chime's herd was moving slowly across the grasslands munching on grass. Chime played with the other babies and mingled with the elders. He grew up enough to leave his mother's side and fend with the herd. He took the outside and protected the herd. He was known as " The fearsome Zebra" because no predator could hunt him down. One day he strayed a little away from the herd. He was eating the same patch of grass he did years back. he looked towards the trees and saw the handsome, scarred, and old lion. He stared curious but no longer scared. He wondered of the lion. He couldn't talk to the lion because they are two seperate animals. The lion gave him a nod. Chime turned and saw a lioness coming towards him. He kicked up his heels and knocked the lioness away. Then he ran towards the herd. Forgetting to turn back.
