The teacher had begun class and was talking to us about herself. All of a sudden I heard "Um, could I borrow a sheet of paper, Ashley?" coming from the right side of me.
This fool can't even remember to buy all the supplies he needed to begin school. It's the first day of school, my god. ALSO, did this dude just call me Ashley? My name is Ally Marie Waters, no where in my name was "Ashley". He must have been doing it on purpose for a little more attention.
I look over at him with a distasteful look on my face. He was smiling. His smile was beautiful, his teeth were sparkling white and super straight. It was hard for me to say no.
I ripped out a sheet of paper and passed it too him. "and its Ally, not Ashley" I said softly while passing the paper. He chuckled at me but I was as serious as a heart attack. The teacher was walking back and forth. Holding a yard stick, hitting a it on the palm of her hand while she was pacing in front of the class.
As she was walking up there explaining about the class, I couldn't hear her. I was deaf when it came to anything she was saying. I heard some words but it couldn't have been coming from her.
"Well, Im Jeremy and uh thanks for the paper" I heard. For a second, I thought it was coming from the teacher because I so focused on trying to pay attention to what she was saying. I then realized it couldn't be her, the voice was too manly. I looked over to see Jeremy smiling at me again.
"Yeah, don't mention it" I said with a sarcastic smile. Again, he chuckled.
"Are you new here?" he said immediately after I responded.
"How did you figure?" I said sarcastically again.
"Because you're the only female that didn't reply saying you already know who I am when I told you my name" he said to me.
Wow. Wow, is all I could think. I say there with a stunned look on my face. Is he implying that every female already knows he's a cheating asshole? Hopefully not.
"Oh trust me Jeremy, I know enough about you." I replied to him. This is the last thing I said to him during that class. I have no more words to speak with him. Still, I felt like I had to remain on a friendly level with him since we sit next to each other in English class.
