Inuyasha POV
I had just gotten to the gym, the teacher was assigning partners I walk up and wait a minute,
"Inuyasha and Miroku" he calls out, I look around and see I geuss that Miroku guy, oh great my other roommate, the teacher then blows the whistle and everyone lines up with there partners,
"Hey" he says,
"Hey, so what are we doing" I ask,
"First he has us do warm ups then probably a game of basketball of Volleyball" he says, I nod
"Why did he give us partners" I ask confused
"that's how we do teams, he'll give you a team name and that's what team your on, it takes less time when he give you partners" he says kinda streching
"Oh, and the warmup's?"I ask confused
" ya its just streches and maybe a two minute run" he says, I nod and do streches,
"All right, now stand in a straight line so I can give you your team names" the teach shouts, I look at his name tag and see his name is Miyoga, OK good to know.
He puts us on the Red Shadows, we nod and walk over, I see we have a lot of strong kids on our team, one guy with black hair walks over,
"Hey mutt, what's your name" he says, don't punch him,
"Inuyasha, and yours " I glare, trying not to punch him,
"Koga, hope your ready this isn't elemntery basketball" he snickers,
"Koga, leave him alone" I hear Miroku say, I turn to him
"Thanks" I mumble, he nods,
"He just a jerk who thinks he cool, but of course I have to be nice to him" he growls, I stare at him confused,
"Oh that's right, he's dateing Kagome" he says, why do I feel this way,
"Oh" I say, Koga turns to me and smirks, oh just wait, the coach blows the whistle and the game starts, a kid rushes at me with the ball, I block him and smack the ball out of his hands, I run to the basket and throw the ball, nice, the ball makes it I run back to our side of the court, Miroku is stareing at me,
"What" I ask,
"Dude, how did you do that" he asks, as if he amazed?
"Um, I use to play with my dad, and I played a little at my other school" I say rubbing the back of my neck,
"Dude your amazing, you just ran past everyone, and made a basket no problem, you should go for the team" he says high fiveing me, I smirk. I see Koga give me a blank stare, he shakes his head and tries to make a basket, but it dosent make it, I grab the ball and make a basket, he growls at me, I turn to him,
"What?" I ask, he growls and goes back to our side,

We win by a ton of points, when we're done the couch tells us to go, I grab my sweatshirt and start to walk out the door,
"Inuyasha, report to the principal's office" I hear the intercom lady say, I facepalm myself and turn to see Miroku looking at me,
"What'd you do" he ask catching up to me,
"Nothing" I mumble,
"Then why does principal Shessomaru want you" he asks,
"Because he my older brother" I mumble, i walk away from him and go to the principal's office, geese I feel like iam in elementary school, I walk in to see a tall lady with black hair,
"Hello, I was called down" I grumble, she stares at me for a second,
"Oh, you must be inuyahsa, Mr. Shessomaru will see you now" she smiles,
"thanks miss Kagura" I grumble, she smiles, I walk to a door that say, principal on it, I open the door with out bothering to knock,
"Hello, little brother" he says, I growl,
"What do you want" I bark,
"Look, its not my fault father sent you here, just don't get into any trouble and I won't have to bug you"he says signing papers, I nod
"Is that all you wanted" I ask about ready to leave,
"No, this was dropped off for you" he says handing it to me,
I take it and slowly open it, its a letter from my mom,
Dear, inuyahsa I know your probably sick of switching schools but we promise this is the last time, at least you and Shessomaru can get to know eachother better. Don't worry, I know that last school was worse than the others, because of...ya you know, make sure you came home for every break, I already miss you, me and your father send our love
Love mom.
I smile at the letter, I fold it back up and stick it into my pocket,
"Later Shessomaru" I wave,
"Was it from father" he asks,
"No, you think dad would have enough time to write me a letter, or anyone for that matter, it was from my mom" I growl, he nods and I leave, since dads company got really popular he hasent had time for anyone, he makes time for mom, but not me or Shessomaru, even if we have different mothers, I once tried to get him to hang out with me, he played a five second game of basketball with me then had to leave for a business trip, mom always said to give him time, and that he would play with me when he got back, that never happened. Mom always tried but she wasent very good at it, but I always liked it.
dad just.. Ugh I don't know. he never sent me a letter, mom always does, and iam glad.
once when I was really little she got into a car accident and almost died, she died for like 3 minutes, then they brought her back. I was too young to remember. I shake my head, I head back to my dorm and see Miroku holding a pice of paper, he hands it or me,
"What's this"? I ask
" basket ball sign up form" he smiles cockily, I roll my eyes,
"Dude, your really good, better than Koga, you should go for the team" he says,
"Are you trying to recruit me" I ask chuckling,
"Well, I am a member of the team so yes I can" he smiles,
"Dosent surprise me, I saw you, your good" I say sitting at the tiny kitchen table,
"Thanks" he smiles, I look at the paper, huh, maybe I should,
"Well"? He asks eating an apple,
" why not, who else is on the team" I ask filling out the paper,
"Um, Drew, Hojo,Koga,Kohaku,Naraku and some other people who I cant remember, but I think Naraku is going to be kicked off" he says,
"Why" I ask
"His grades are horrible, and he's kinda into drugs" he says, I nod, ya I know that type, he'll be gone before the next game, I finish filling it out and hand it to Miroku,
"Ok, we have a meeting tomorrow after class at the gym, make sure you come, well have your jersey ready" he says, I nod and hear the front door open.
"Kagome you here" I hear that Koga kid shout, I roll my eyes,
"She's not here Koga, she's at practice" Miroku says, Koga comes into the kitchen and stares at me,
"Oh so your her new roommate, lets make one thing clear, don't touch Kagome or I'll hunt you down" he growls at me,
"Koga back off he's one of us" Miroku says, handing him the form,
"Take that to Totosai please" he says shoving him out the door,
"You sure he won't rip it up or something" I smirk,
"Nah, he's all bark and no bite, if he does he'll answer to coach and the rest of us" he smiles, I nod and go sit in the couch,
"So is there a rent type system or" I ask,
"No, if you get good grades they let you live here for free" he says sitting on the other small couch,
"Oh, good" I huff,
"Ya I geuss they figured if your doing good, you shouldn't get a job or anything" I nod, sounds like my brother,
"So, where's Sango" I ask,
"Oh, her and Kagome both play on the girls Volleyball team they have practice till about five" he smiles turning the TV on,
"So are you and Sango, ya know" I ask makes a circler motion with my hands,
"NO, where not" he grumbles, I let out a small laugh, I turn to the TV,
"So the principal is your brother" he says kinda awkward like,
"He's my half brother, and yes" I say,
"Cool" he says, we watch the TV till we hear the front door open,
"Miroku where home" I hear Sango yell,
"We're in here" he yells back, Sango and Kagome walk in , in there uniforms,
"Koga was looking for you Kagome" Miroku says,
"Oh, thanks Miroku, well iam gonna change and go meet him" she waves at us and runs into her room, Sango goes into her room. Kagome comes out first and is wearing a short black skirt, flats, and a black tight tee shirt,
"Bye guys" she says waving at us, a few minutes later Sango comes out and sits in the recliner thing, we all watch TV till about 5o'clock
"Inuyasha, its your turn to make dinner" Miroku says,
"Oh so we take turns making the food that's good to know" I smile, I get up and go to the kitchen and look around the cabinets, lets see, I pull out a box of Mac and cheese, why not thats the only thing I know how to make anyway, I put on some water and wiat for it to boil, I really hope that this school is better than the last, I kinda already like it here, these guys seem cool, I look at the water and its already boiling, huh, I make the Mac and cheese,
"Guys it done" I yell, they both come in and grabs plate, fill it and sit and eat,
"So Miroku who is the captian of the team" I ask,
"Ummmmmmm" he rubs the back of his neck
"Miroku?" I ask again
"Koga" he says, I legitimately drop my spoon
"You could of told me this before I sign up!" I say
"I knew you wouldn't if I told you do I kinda his it" he laughs nervously, I groan
"Oh, Koga's all bark and no bite, he'll leave you alone after a while" Sango says, I growl and roll my eyes
"He's a real jerk though" I say, they both nod,
"Yeah, I don't know what Kagome sees in him" Sango says I stare at her,
"It's true, no one would deny it" Miroku says, we continue to eat until were all done, I say goodnight to them and go into my room, I've been wanting to write my mom back for some time,
Dear mom,
thanks for the letter, and yes I miss you too, this school I actually kinda like the people here are cool, I've even joined the basketball team, its seems alright mom, and I've been trying really hard not to remeber her or what happen, but I geuss some scars can't heal, mentally or physically, but I an gonna forget her and that school, iam gonna stay here, I just hope that everything turns out right, love you mom,

I put down my pencil and change out of my jeans and into my shorts, I flop on the bed and pull the sheets around me, ugh tomorrow's math, ugh I hate math, oh well, I close my eyes and fall into a deep sleep.
