Sometimes you don't want to tell someone something. You could have many reasons. Sometimes you don't know how they would react. Sometimes you're worried they could take it the wrong way. Sometimes you're afraid it could cause everything to fall apart. And then sometimes you tell them anyway. But then you try to take it back, worrying you've just ruined your entire relationship with that person. That no matter how many times they've said they won't leave that you've reached the point of no return and they won't be coming back. That they're leaving like everyone else. That no matter what you say or do there's no chance of reparation. And that scares you more than anything. Their silence is ripping you apart but there isn't anything you can do, now. Nothing but wait.
