Hands Tied

ii.

Every hit was a flashback to all the pain he put me through during our relantionship , from the yelling throwing of anything he could get his hands on it all came back to me . I hate to say this but I wish I never met him all he does to me is use and abuse me I just want somebody to love me for me and not for one thing .

I looked at my now busted lip and bloody nose through the mirror , my make up was running down my face as I saw dried up tear stains . My outfit was now ripped and torn because of the fight we had this was the regular for me nothing changed between us . I began to touch my face but I flinched in pain he was a heavy hand man I think I should have listen to him .

"Mocha what the hell happen to you, is he hitting again" summer said walking in and looking at me through the mirror

"Summer not today okay I just want to get my shit and go home" I said walking away and that only made her more upset

"No you are going to answer me is he hitting you again" summer said getting in her face

"I-I-I told him to stop but he didn't" I said tearing up as she went to turn all the lights on

"Look at me Morgan, I want to see your face" Summer said as I slowly showed my face and she instantly got on her knees in front of me

Summer and I have been friends since I got here she was always a person I could talk to and she would listen. She was there when Keith first put his hands on me and every since she has been wanting me to leave him but for some reason I've been having mix emotions about that . I mean I love Keith and I want him to get better but then again I can't take it anymore .

"Morgan you have to leave him before you end up in the hositpal again" summer said as I played with my fingers

"No summer I can't leave him , I mean I want to but then again I can't he needs me , he said he would get better" I said and that only made her even more mad at me

"Are you crazy he is hitting you and you want to stay with him , you are one crazy ass bitch" she said as I looked up and tears flowed down my cheeks

"You don't mean that" I said tearing up as she came to comfort me

"Look Morgan it come out wrong I'm tired of seeing you like this it breaks my heart your too beautiful for him to put his hands on you like this" she said rubbing her back  "So I tell you what you grab your stuff and your sleeping at my house tonight"

"No, No Summer I can't Keith will kill me and God knows what he will do to you I just can't leave him" I said as she just looked at me crazy

"You have got to be kidding me right now Morgan if you don't leave that house he will seriously hurt you this time if you don't leave" she said convincing me to leave with her

"Summerrrrrr I can't he promise things would get better between us and I'm holding his word to it" I said playing with my fingers

"Morgan this aren't getting better look at your face , look where you are , this isn't love I don't know what type of love this is but you need to get out and fast" she said grabbing her bag and Morgan's bag

"Fine I'll spend the night with you just for one night and that's it" I said as we walked out the locker room making sure Keith wasn't insight and we ran to her car

Keith

"Man why you always hitting your girl like that" David said putting the liquor up on the shelves

"Because she has to learn to respect me , when I say don't do domething she better not do it" I said sipping my drink

"You sound so dumb that girl was the biggest lawyer here in Atlanta and you got her working here at the strip club" David said wiping the counter

"I mean she did say she would do anything for our relantionship" I said getting a handful of pretzels

"I highly doubt this was what she had in mind , that girl loves you Keith and you got her working here and you fucking with other girls and not to mention you beating her" he said

"She shouldn't make me mad all the time she knows what pisses me off" I said while David looked at me crazy

"Keith you should like a complete fool, you put that girl in the hostipal 4 times since I been working here and just think that's okay" he said striking a nerve

"Look I don't need this from you I already get from other people I didn't know I would be getting it from you" I said

"I'm out I don't have time for you today , I have a family to take care of unlike you , your a dog" he said walking out the door as I threw the pretzels down and sipping my drink

I don't need him telling me how to control my girl she knows I love her that's why I got her working here in the first place. So she can pay off her loans , buy something nice for herself and be a pro at what she does and that is moving those hips .

"You think this was a good idea coming to my place to get clothes Summer" I said yelling from the staircase

"Yes you need time to breathe and think and you can't do it with him right next to you" she said putting her stuff in the suitcase

"Well you are right , I think that's all of my clothes for now I might have to come back later for the rest" I said walking down the stairs

"Do you think this is a good idea Summer? Please be honest with me" I said sitting down on the couch

"Hell yes you need time to yourself and you need time to get yourself together" she said closing the suitcase and sitting on the couch with her

Right before they could say anything else Keith walked in with one of Morgan's suitcase in his left hand and they both got off the couch shocked

"Going somewhere" he said
