'Semi's'

Becas POV-

"Come on guys... We can do this" Chloe whispers. "Hands in Bellas, 'ahh' on 3" The Bellas put their hands in and I squeezed my hand under fat Amy's. "1,2,3" We all sung 'ahh' on 3 and then got our mics. "Good luck Beca" chloe smiled and then before I knew it we were walking on the stage. The crowd was huge! I could see Jesse though, he was smiling and chanting our name.

We sang a new mix that I had been working on, Chloe took the lead on 'Ghost' by Ella Henderson, Cynthia rose took the lead on 'Pills and potions' by Nicki Minaj and I took the lead on 'Bad blood' by Taylor swift. The other Bellas added harmonies and it all sounded great! At this rate we were going to fly to the finals.
The song finished at the crowd cheered loudly. We bowed and exited off the stage. "Good job" Fat Amy said as she pulled out a sandwich from her bag. "Really nice everyone" I said.
After the semi's, there was an after party which we all headed to. I met Jesse there. "Hey babe" he said as he walked over and kissed me quickly. "Hi" "You guys were good! But we're gunna kick your ass" Jesse said. "Not if we kick yours first" I said back to him. We headed over to the bar and I noticed chloe wasn't drunk, and we didn't even have a drink in her hand. She was sat on a bench around the back of the garden where the party was. "I'll be right back" I headed over to chloe. She was crying but when I got to her she quickly wiped her tears and stood up. "Beca, hi" She said, still sniffling a bit. "Chloe, what's up?" Chloe shook her head. "Nothing... Well Tom was seeing a girl behind my back so I dumped him" Chloe said. "Ugh. That sucks. But better now than later" I said. I really wasn't good at these things, as chloe knew. "I'm gunna go home okay, if the Bellas ask tell them I felt sick" She said. She headed to the gate and gave me a little wave before she went. I sighed an went back to Jesse. "Thanks" I said as he handed me the drink. I was quite quiet for the rest of the party, it didn't feel right when the Bellas and I were doing our chant and Chloe wasn't here.
