'In treble'

Chloe and I drove in silence to the police station, it was really late so hardly anyone was on the road. It was quiet until I turned the radio on. Chloe laughed under her breath, but I still heard. "Ready" Chloe said as she pulled up at the station. I simply nodded and got out of the car. Chloe locked the doors and took my arm as we headed inside. I went up to the desk, chloe close behind.
"Excuse me, I- I would like to report an incident" I said.
"Someone will be with you right away miss" The man said, he was right because no sooner had we sat down, someone came out and took us into a room. We were walking in when the man blocked Chloe from coming in, "sorry, your friend will have to wait outside" Chloe looked at me and squeeze the hand of mine she was holding, and said "I'll wait here, be strong okay?" She said with a little 'Chloe wink'. I nodded and watched as she went to sit down. Then as I entered the room i did the same.
"Recording starts at 12:43, I'm here with Beca Mitchell and DCI John... We will start by asking you a few questions okay Miss Mitchell"
"Beca..." I replied and nodded so she could continue.
"We would like to ask you your story, from the very beginning"
I sighs and then began.
I told her every detail from the start of the party, to when chloe came to pick me up.
"What sort of a mood was Jesse in? Or state?" She asked.
"Well, it was a party so he could have been drunk, but I'm sure he wasn't, he was kind of my boyfriend but I didn't want to do anything with him..."

The interview was soon over and some one else came in. She sat beside me and handed me a few leaflets, turned out she was one of those people who deal with rape and sexual adult. She advised me to open up to people who were close and to read the booklets she gave me.

I exited the room and saw Chloe instantly stand up and she pulled me into a tight hug. "Well, what's happening now? Are you okay? Are they going to get Jesse-"
"Chloe calm down!" I put my hands on her shoulders which stopped her from firing questions at me. We took a seat, "they're going to interview Jesse and my lawyer said that because I have... Well you know, marks, it counts as evidence and my case is pretty strong" I explained to chloe who held my hand throughout the explanation. "Can we just go home?" Chloe nodded as she wiped her tears that she didn't even realise had fallen.
