Chapter One

(Y/n)..... (Y/n), (Y/n) answer me!
I could hear someone calling my name repeatedly each time getting louder and louder, but I couldn't make out who's voice it was. The voice was filled with worry and confusion, but I still couldn't make out who's voice it was no madder how hard I tried. I feel so much pain in my chest like I've been stabbed or shot I feel dizzy and tried maybe I should just close my eyes and sleep for awhile.. I soon as I closed my eyes darkness filled my vision and everything went blank..

~Earlier that day~

"Come on xiumin! The festival is about to start and we're not even close to the entrance yet!" I said while dragging my boyfriend of 2 years along to the festival entrance because of how slow he was walking.
"Okay! Okay (y/n)! The festival doesn't even start until 7:30 and it's only 6:30."
He's been reminding me of when it starts for the past hour we've been walking to the festival.
"I know when it starts xiumin I just want to get their early so we can see all the beautiful things that happen today!" I replied happily smiling brightly at him for reassurance. We have been talking about going to this festival for weeks because it was the one day that we both had time off together so we could both spend all of our time together without any disruption from anyone. Xiumin has been so busy with his work schedule this month with his groups big comeback and we just haven't been able to spend anytime together for a long while and I just want at least one relaxing day with my boyfriend. We finally got to the entrance of the festival the lights were glowing in the beautiful dark night as the cherry blossoms were falling softly on to the pavement as we walked to each of the small shopping stands.
"Look xiumin it's a big stuffed panda bear It's so cute!" I smiled as I pointed at the big stuffed animal.
"Yeah it looks a bit like Tao! Maybe I should buy it for him as a Christmas present." He chuckled softly as he spoke. I smiled as he spoke about Tao because I was thinking the same exact thing as him.
" I wonder how much it is? Maybe 7,500 £?" I asked xiumin since I don't know how money works in Korea as well as he does.
" well from what that sign says its 8,000 £ so it's about 6 dollars". He answered my question without any hesitation like he knew I was going to ask at any moment.
"Well I'll buy this for Tao for Christmas and for all of the 10 members I'll need to look else were tomorrow I suppose." I giggled softly as I saw the look on xiumins face when I mentioned all the other members of his group.
"What's with the face xiumin?" I asked giggling softly while I paid for the stuffed panda bear.
"It's just- why are you buying them all Christmas presents?" He asked with an annoyed expression. I laughed softly at his expression and question.
"Xiumin theirs no need to get jealous of me buying presents for your members! I have a special present for you and only for you." I pressed my soft lips against his to let him know I was his and only his no madder what happens.

~after the festival~
"Ah the blossoms this year were beautiful I hope we get to see them next year like this again.." I smiled as I rested my head on xiumins shoulder as we walked home together holding hands.
"Yeah they were really beautiful this year, but I really enjoyed being with you." He whispered into my ear as he said that and my cheeks burned when he said those things.
"I enjoyed spending time with you to xiumin I wish we could do this more often.." I trailed off at the end because I knew he would just apologize about not being able to see me as much now of days because of his comeback with exo. He stopped right in his tracks after I said that I hope I didn't upset him with my words that's not what I wanted..
" (y/n) did you hear anything unusual?" He asked me sternly while looking around us.
"No I didn't hear anything.. Is something wrong xiumin?" I asked him with confusion while watching his movements. He grabbed my hand after I asked him what was wrong and we were running down the street. I could hear loud footsteps behind us theirs probably around 5 or 6 people chasing us. I tried to keep up with xiumin, but he was running almost at the speed of light. After maybe 15 minutes of running I tripped over the curb and fell straight into the pavement scratches and bruises covered my body. I saw xiumin standing in front of me trying to talk to the people who were chasing us. As soon as I blinked i saw fists and blood tears started to fall as I saw how hard xiumin was trying to protect me from getting hurt. I sat up slowly as my whole body was aching in pain from my fall. As soon as I sat I felt someone's arms around my body and threw me over their shoulder I knew it wasn't xiumin so I started thrashing wildly everywhere.
"PUT ME DOWN YOU ASSHOLE!" I yelled loudly enough for at least someone to hear me, but no one came to my recuse. I saw xiumin fighting to get to me as their was at least 4 guys trying to stop him from chasing the man down. I started to think of a way to get him to stop running so I decided to kick him somewhere the sun down shine. The man who was carrying me fell to the ground and I pushed my body away from him as far as possible. I lost sight of where xiumin was I tried looking around slightly to see if anyone was near were I was or were xiumin was. I pulled myself up slowly pushing my hands into the ground to host myself up. Once I got up I started walking slowly to look around for xiumin to see if he was badly hurt or if he left me here with these men. I walked for maybe a good 15 minutes looking around the area there was no sign of xiumin in sight. I started to feel fragile and scared like I was prey and my hunter was waiting for me in their trap. Why would someone come and attack us like that? We didn't do anything wrong.. At least I didn't, but for xiumin I don't know anything about his past. He never told me anything about his family or anything for that matter, Did something terrible happen when he was younger? Did he even tell his other members about his past? I had so many thoughts going through my mind at one time that I didn't notice someone following me.
