Clever Girl

Chapter 1

You were new to the SDS in London. You were previously stationed in America, however a line of recent events had caused you to move.

You had made friends easy enough it seemed. Ronald Knox was the first to make his acquaintance when you had arrived. You later found out that he was the associations flirt from your more flamboyant friend Grell.

Gell was everything that you weren't, but that only made you enjoy being his friend even more. Grell made you laugh and any time (even overtime) was a good time with Grell.

Eric and Alan were different from the others they were their own group of friends, Alan far more serious than Grell, Ronald, and Eric. Eric was a lot like Ronald just not a flirt with anything that walks type of guy.

Then you had your boss William T. Spears the single most serious and stoic man you had ever met in your life. 'Honestly, I know sidewalks less stiff than this man' you had thought when you first met him. You didn't even know if he liked you or not he didn't yell at you or hit you like he did Grell and Ronald all he did was give you paperwork and assignments, he never complained about your work and the only time you had overtime is if you had to babysit Grell for the day. You were pulled from your thoughts by Grell.

"(Y/N) what are you doing after work~" he said giving you his signature toothy grin. "Nothing Grell just going home and relaxing." You replied with a smile.

"Ohhh that sound's so boring. . . Why don't you come to a party with me and Ron it will be so much more fun if you go with!!!"

"We have to be at work in the morning I can't go partying with you all night."

"(Y/N) you're far too serious, come on pleeeaaasssseeee ????"

"Fine, I will go with you but I am not staying out all night with you two." You reply with a sigh.

"YEEESSSSS, it will be so much fun, I promise you won't regret going. We will pick you up at your place around 7 so be ready when we get there."

~TIME SKIP~

It was almost 5 o'clock and you had finished all of your assignments and paperwork, so now you had to drop them off with William in his office.

You get up and walk to the door of your office, open the door and start to walk to your boss's office. When you get there you knock on the door wait a few seconds and open the door.

"Hello Mr. Spears, I finished all my paperwork and just needed to drop it off with you, before I leave for the day." You said with a smile.

Without even looking up at you he said "Thank you, Miss. (Y/N) just drop it on the corner of the desk with the others."

"Yes sir" you smiled again, 'not like he would know I was ' you thought to yourself.

Suddenly Grell burst through the door "Will~ I have missed you so much darling!!!! Oh hey (Y/N)"

"Hey Grell, Well good evening Mr. Spears." You said while turning to walk out of the door.

"(Y/N) Remember be ready when Ron and I get to your place, the party starts at 7:30, and make sure you look cute can't have you running around with me not looking fabulous darling." He said with yet another toothy grin.

"I will be Grell, See you at 7." You smiled and left the room. What you didn't see was the pair of yellow- green eyes watch you leave his office with a look of slight jealousy.

~TIME SKIP HOME~

You had been home for a few minutes when you decide to take a nice bubble bath, you relaxed for a little bit before you got up and rinsed off then hoped out grabbing your towel and wrapping it around you before heading off to your room to find something to wear for the night.
