"Look what you did now!" Arabella yelled, thinking about all the ways her mother would kill her.
"Babe, I didn't do anything wrong!" replied the dork in the driver's seat. James wanted to take Arabella to her favorite ice cream shop to celebrate her 18th birthday, but their plan was cut short when they heard the police sirens behind them.
"Uh huh" Arabelle replied. "I told you to not make that U-turn. I knew it was illegal!"
"Don't blame it on me! I am pretty confident that it was legal" countered James as he stopped the car.
"Confident my ass" Arabella muttered under my breath, as the police officer was heading over towards the car.
The police officer asked for James's ID and then proceeded to talk, "I have to write you guys a ticket". James groaned, knowing that he just got on his parents' good side after being on his best behavior for the past month. He had been hoping to convince his parents to allow him and his girl to use their beach house. But that thought is now all down the drain as surely his parents will be mad.
The police officer handed James an envelope along with a set of keys and wished them a good day before leaving. James was surprised when he opened the envelope and found a letter and two tickets. Christine looked over at the letter when James began to read.
Oh, James, you have grown so much! Mommy is proud. Your dad thought of giving you guys a scare so we enlisted this nice officer to help us! We know you wanted to take Arabella to the beach house, but I have a better idea. Don't tell your pops though! He thinks you guys are going to the beach house. Enclosed are two tickets to Paris! I already talked to Arabella's parents and they already approve. Oh and let's just say, I sold your dad's dear motorcycle for money. He shouldn't be driving it either way. That old pig has gotten into one too many accidents lately. I hope you enjoy the trip! Lots of love
-Your mom
P.S: I want many grandchildren! Remember!James blushed he finished reading the letter. "Your mom probably poked holes in all of your condoms. You know how much she wants those kids" joked Arabella.
"I know, but hey! She bought us tickets to the city of love. Probably because she wants those kids so much" replied James, who started to examine the plane tickets.
"Arabella.." began James.
"Yes?"
"The plane tickets are for today and the plane leaves in 5 hours" continued James.
"Oh, sugar peanuts!" exclaimed Arabellaas she started to panic. "What would I bring? How long are we staying? What's the weather like!".
James began to drive to bring Arabella home so they could pack. He explained that they will be staying for two weeks, based on the dates on the tickets. Once they were all packed, they left for the airport.
