As the three were walking in the darkness they noticed how beautiful the outside world was, beings that they spent most of their years inside practicing violin and the only time they really got out was to be taken to their violin lessons.

"Wow!" Amy said in a monotone voice, taking in the view.

"Who knew the middle of nowhere was so great." finished Lily. Even though they were not technically in the middle of nowhere (or at least the one they wanted to be at) they were still basically in the middle of nowhere.

"I know." Lydia replied to them.

Once they came to a stop Lydia said "I guess we should set up camp for the night."

Lily and Lydia looked around, "Amy!" They called, Amy had suddenly disappeared into the darkness of the night, they couldn't even make out a silhouette of anyone, right before they were about to go look for her Amy appeared from deep beyond the bushes.

"Sorry guys, had to take a dump." She said, Lydia and Lily just looked at her. Classic Amy.

As Lily was setting her backpack down she replied with, " We decided to take camp for the night, did you have a pleasant dump?"

"Yeah."

"Guys I think I found a place for Old McDonald to sleep. Lily since you have a voice that could sooth the soul of a magnificent instrument, will you do the honers?" Lydia said looking at Lily.

Lily took the violin from Lydia and started to saran-ate his soul.

"Rock a by baby on the tree top, when the wind blows the cradle will rock, rock a by baby on the tree top when the wind blows the cradle will rock." She then planted a kiss on Old McDonald as she tucked him in for sleep.

The three gathered around the campsite laying down staring at the stars, trying to name the constellations.

"Guys I'm pretty hungry." Amy said rubbing her tummy.

"Yeah." The other two agreed, they haven't eaten in quite a while

"Amy, Lydia, help me climb up this tree so I can make a phone call." Lily said.

Amy and Lydia looked at each other, they knew it was the only way to get food.
They helped Lily get on the tree and she climbed to the top of the tree.

When she climbed down they decided not to question her at all.

It took a good three hours before we heard a boy's voice from the distance.

"DELIVERY FOR THE THREE BROKEN STRINGS!" We heard.

"THAT'S US!" We all yelled.

Finally about 30 seconds later we saw a boy, carrying a pizza box, bread sticks, pizza rolls, and sprite.

They were too tired and frankly to hungry to question how on earth he even found them and how on earth they were going to pay for this. The boy realized that they obviously were hobos, hungry. So he didn't charge them, but simply walked away.

The three scarfed down the pizza and everything else in what seemed like minutes.

after their delicious meal they decided it was time for bed and snuggled in their cozy blankets, glad to finally get a rest.

*Lydia's POV*

Me and Amy were heading out for some taco bell, Lily was at home sick with pneumonia.

"I'm so mad we didn't win the violin competition!" I exclaimed, nothing but anger running through My vains.

"And Lily couldn't even come to taco bell!" Amy added on.

When they got in the car, I knew something was different. I couldn't remember where taco bell was, that was weird, I always knew how to get to taco bell. I pulled out her phone and asked Siri.

"Take me to taco bell."

"Haven't you heard? Taco bell vanished." Replied Siri.

"Why?" I gasped not bearing the news I just heard.

"Because you didn't win the violin competition."

I couldn't handle this, 'why me?' is all I thought. I got out of the car and practically collapsed on the concrete, screaming with all my might,          "WHY!!"

This was it. I knew it was the end.

*Amy's POV*

I was on the edge of a very steep drop contemplating  life. I didn't deserve this, I had worked so had, so very hard for absolutely nothing.

"If I can't win this violin competition, I don't deserve this life." I began climbing over the railing to jump.

I noticed Lily and Lydia running while screaming,    "NO!" But it was too late, I had jumped, I couldn't bear face them anymore, I had ended such a short life, a life that could have been worth living until this violin competition came along, it seemed to ruin my life and so did the violin, but to me, that violin was my life.

As her last limb hit the ground and her eyes fluttered closed, I could hear the police sirens going off and my last thought was, 'Once I lost the violin competition, I already lost my life'

*Lily's POV*

I was on a run around my neighborhood, once I lost the violin competition all I had was exercise, only the burning pain in my calves or arms could take my mind off of losing the one thing I had ever wanted. But no pain came close to what it was like to lose.

My phone began to ring and it read Unknown Number but I had just the feeling I knew who it was.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Did you win the violin competition?" The voice said with hate and stern in her voice.

"No I didn't win, I didn't win it!" I exclaimed with tears forming in my eyes.

"You know what's gonna happen if you don't win?!"

I knew exactly what was going to happen, I slid down a near car, crying my eyes out, knowing how much I deserve this but not everyone else, everyone else had to suffer for something I did.

And with that she felt the ground beneath her crumble and her limbs start to burn.

'if only I won'

* * *

The three woke up gasping, thanking the Lord that it was just a dream.

None of them the knew the others had woken up beings that they were spread out,

It took a while for any of them to want to go back to sleep, what if they dream of something worse? Yet nothing could compare to what had happened in those dreams.

The last thought before building up the courage to go to bed was 'Probably all those pizza rolls'
