Infuriate Me

Packing up

The meeting went great, it was about taking over the South Americas.

We start for war in a month, but I have some news for Aaron.

"Aaron?" I ask in the bedroom.

"Yes love?" he replies.

"Im going to the compounds to visit Kenji and everybody, have them come back here and prepare for the war."

"Im gonna go with you" he says.

"Don't worry Ill be fine, you seem to have a lot of paper work anyways" I say nodding towards the office.

"Ok love" he says kissing my forehead.

"Ill be back soon...bye!" I say walking out of our room.

I walk down the halls and ask a solider to prepare a tank to visit the compounds, he nods and leads me to the exit, where a tank awaits a door open for me.

I climb in and sit next to the solider, he nods towards me and asks where we are going.

"The compounds" I say quietly.

He starts to drive and I look at my palms, studying the lines.

The tank halts to a stop and we get out.

"Ill be less then a hour" I say to him.

He nods and goes back into the tank.

The compounds look totally different.

Theres new homes, the sky is a bit more blue, theres kids playing, solders helping people carry bags of foods into houses.

Soldiers playing with kids, helping the wounded, repairing homes.

This is what our future looks like.

After walking for block I finally see Castle, playing with two blonde little kids, he points in my direction and both kids come running.

"Aunt Juliette!" they call. The run into my arms one boy and one girl about 3 years old.

I never knew that Castle had family until a few months ago, he never spoke of any.

"Annie, Christian" how are my two favorite nieces?

They beam at me and run back to their father.

"Hey Castle" I hug him.

"Ms, Ferras, so good to see you" he smiles, his long blonde pony tail cut "come in come in"

We walk into the brown shingled house, the living room goes into the kitchen, and a private dinning room is on the left. Every wall is a different color of grey, with pops of flowers everywhere.

"I see the flowers are doing well" I smile.

"Yes yes, soon they will be able to go into the ground, hopefully they'll last" he says giving each kid a juice box, they run into the living room, turning on a portable.

Thats the newest thing we have, a portable, its almost like a tv. It displays movies, shows, music, or just pictures, soon were going to have a education put into the tv, so kids can still lean if their not able to attend school.

"So what brings you here Ms. Ferras" Castle says handing me a water.

"Well, Im here to recruit everyone" I say looking at the kitchen counter and back at Castle "We leave for South America in a Month"

He looks at me for a moment and then nods.

"Do forgive me Ms. Ferras but I don't think I can leave these two unattended" he nods over to his kids.

"Already covered" I say. "You can bring them with you now" I drum my hand on the chair waiting for his response.

"Very well, Ill bring my automobile to the base, I should be back before dark" he says.

"See you then" I hug him and walk out.

"Bye kids" I wave

"Bye Aunt Juliette!!" they yell.

And I close the door, and go across the street.
