'Heatwave pov.'
My life, as of right now, is perfect. I have my sire back(who's currently carrying three sparklings) a perfect mate, and I'm having twins! One mech and one femme. My due date is still two months away, I can't wait to see my little ones. I think I'll name them Marina and Coal. Hightide likes the names. Oh Hightide, my perfect sparkmate. He's been so understanding and attentive since we found out I'm pregnant. The other pregnant bots are Airachnid(Chase and Arcee's sparkling), Kade (Smokescreen's), Graham (Shockwave's...don't ask), Dani (Bumblebee and Jack), Ultra Magnus ( Predaking's), Knockout( Bulkhead and Breakdowns) and Wheeljack(Ratchet's). It really wasn't that shocking when we found out Wheeljack was carrying instead of Ratchet. Dani keeps getting fed up cause every time she tries to move Jack shouts for Bee and then she has a panicking robot wrapping her in blankets so she can't move. Right now we're all in a sort of common room that has a dip in the ground that's filled with pillows and blankets for the carriers to lounge on while drones wait on us and our mates work on the bridge. Dani sits up and her hand flies to her stomach. Slowly a smile spreads on her face and she waves her hands at Graham and Kade."Windmill and Mooncatcher kicked!" Yeah, she's naming her mechling's Mooncatcher and Windmill. Poor kids. Everyone excitedly feels her stomach and coos about sparklings. I gesture J4n3 over and she comes obediently.
"Jane bring Jack and Bumblebee here. Make sure to tell them why so they don't worry about her and flip like last time." She giggles and nods before skating away on her wheeled feet. Sweet kid. We all sit and laugh and talk about sparklings. Airachnid wants to name her sparklings Raven and Tarantula, I guess those are okay names. All of a sudden a tight pain wracks through my abdomen. I gasp in pain and double over. Airachnid starts screaming and Wheeljack holds me up. I start groaning and holding my stomach. It hurts so much. I start crying and then Hightide and Ratchet are there, asking me what's wrong and running scans. Ratchet goes silent suddenly then he's frantically ordering Hightide to take me to the infirmary, screaming 'he's early, he's early!' I feel Carrier grasp my servo and Sire sobs beside us. I'm laid down on a medical berth and then Ratchet is giving me medicine and the world is going black. Please Primus, don't take my sparklings. Please.
'Hightide pov.'
Three days. It's been three days since my perfect little mate went into an early pregnancy. The sparklings are beautiful. Marina looks just like Heatwave with a blue paintjob and large curious optics. Coal is a mix of our frames and is extremely shy. I can tell they want their carrier, they're always crying or upset. Ratchet and Knockout say he'll wake up, we just don't know when. Something went wrong, the feeding chord got wrapped around Coals intake and it caused an early delivery. Sometimes in the middle of the night Coal starts coughing and I have to get up and hold him till it subsides. Right now I'm cradling my sparklings as we sit beside Heatwave. Please wake up my love. I need you so much."Heatwave please wake up. Coal and Marina need you. They need their carrier." I murmur as Marina chirps and rubs her carriers faceplates with her tiny servos. I gasp as a little spark flies from them and into his helm. I pull them away and Heatwave shoots up venting hard and grasping his chestplates frantically.
"Sparklings." He keeps gasping and I understand.
"Heatwave, they're right here. They're right here." I murmur. He stops and turns his wide optics to me. He holds out shaking servos and I gently hand him the twins. Coal coos and hides his faceplates while Marina starts chirping like she's talking. He smiles at them and looks up at me.
"How long?" He asks.
"Three days." I answer. He looks back at them sadly.
"I bet you two were super good for your sire weren't you?" He whispers to them. Marina starts flailing her servos and the chirping increases and Coal decides to join her. Heatwave bursts out laughing and they smile at their accomplishment. I crawl onto the berth with my family and hold them close. I will never let anything happen to them as long as I live.
