Laura: Im ok, Im just getting my sweatshirt

I give her a look

Laura: I promise

I let her go

I sit down with the others when I hear Laura scream. I, along with the others, run in the fort to see what happened.

Everyone:WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!

Laura's pov

I walk into the tent to get the sweatshirt that I told Ross I was getting, and when I walked in, I could not believe what I saw. All I could do was scream.

Ross' pov

Ross: WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE CODY?!

Cody fricken Christian.

HE DIDNT EVEN PAY! He even said before we left that he came to say GOODBYE to Brooke, not knowing that he actually was saying his last goodbye.

Cody: I dont need to answer anyone. ESPECIALLY not you 'pretty boy'.

Hes been here 5 minutes and Im already ready to choke him. I guess he can tell that I dont like being called that, so the next thing he said was.

Cody: Aww does 'pretty boy' not like that? What about 'blondie'? Ya like that, blonde?

I clench my fists. I swear my face is as red as the apple that I had for breakfast. I guess Laura notices, because the next thing I know, I feel her hand on my fist, which relaxes me, making me entertwind our fingers, and eventually it calms me down.

Ross: I will ask one more time. What. Are. You. Doing. Here.

Cody: Well, I came for my girlfriend Brooke. I cant trust any of you with her.

Riker: whispers, I dont know why you would even think that we would want her.

Cody: WATCH. IT. Now where is she?

We all look at each other. Uh-oh. None of us want to say anything, we end up just standing there, not making eye contact with him.

Laura: Well, uh...um...ya see...

I squeeze her hand telling her its ok, I'll say it.

Ross: There is no easy way to say this, but...uh...Brooke, she went to look for some food by herself-

Cody: YOU LET HER GO BY HERSELF!?

Ross: Yeah, thats what I said...anyway...we heard a scream a couple of hours later-

Cody: A COUPLE OF HOURS? YOU LEFT HER OUT THERE BY HERSELF THAT LONG!? ARE YOU STUPID? WHY WOULD YOU-

Ross: LISTEN TO ME!

I guess I scared Laura because she releases her grip on my hand, and jumps back.
I look at her and slightly smile, and walk up to her, grabbing her hand again saying I was sorry. She rests her head against my arm, and I look down and smile at her.

Cody: WOULD YOU TWO STOP BEING ALL LOVEY DOVEY AND BRING ME TO MY GIRLFRIEND!? WHAT HAPPENED TO HER!?

Calum: LEAVE THEM ALONE, AT LEAST HIS GIRL IS STILL ALIVE!

Oh no.

Cody: WHAT

Cody: WHAT IN THE H*** DO YOU MEAN ALIVE. WHAT HAPPENED TO BROOKE.
