Roars reputed from around me as dragons flew into the sky – the wilderness around me falling dark as light was blocked from the forest floor, Snoggletog, best and worse time of the year. I turned my head to Flow as she too looked over the darkening sky, she sighed, "It's always so scary, it's stupid but I always fear that they will be poached on the fly..." I nodded my head as I spotted Glow lighting up the area – trying to find her friends in the mass of Dragons that were preparing to leave for the Rookery. Although it wasn't long before the group started to move. I shouted my last goodbyes, and I think I heard one back... at least.

A squawk made me jump as a blue Nadder started to charge toward me and Flow, she halted just in time to not nock the Armouring over, "Look what I found!" a voice shouted as a Viking slid out of the saddle – the brunet waved green and red wool hats about, she beckoned me over and slid one on top of my head. Ivy giggled, "Now you're all festive!", she ran over to Flow and started to fix one over her horns.

"They're warm alright." I told Pebbles as she watched our rider and friend start to chase each other.

A hum of agreement was my answer, "Yeah – I got woolly leg warmers." She chuckled , stomping to show them off, I laughed, "Nah – wait until you see what she got for the Tiny Tooths." She told me as Ivy let out a hurrah, the hat settled in between the horns of the great dragon. The two made their way over to us. The human jumping back into Pebbles' saddle.

"Let's go! The little ones have been on their own since this morning, and I'm getting cold!" Ivy said as she pulled her fur coat tighter around her. Pebbles made her way up into the sky and I followed suit, with Flow jumping above us. I followed the older dragons through the cave that connected the Wilderness to the Caldera.

There was a scream as we emerged and I spotted Ivy's friend, Lamb, running around in circles with his remaining dragon, CornOnTheHob – the Hobgobbler, "Hey, Ivy – you coming to the fair tonight?" he shouted as he spotted us.

Ivy nodded as she climbed off Pebbles, "Yep! I'm helping run the Hot Drinks stand!" She shouted back, The Snoggletog Fair – the one time everyone pulls out all the stops to buy and sell as much as they can – I remember my first time going; Ivy dragged me and Pebbles out to the bonfire that was set up at the edge of the festival and sat down telling me stories of the Cold Winters back on her home island and how the fire always thawed the frost in their hair.

We continued to make our way back to the Stables and where greeted by the warm temperature the hatchery was kept at as we passed. "Ivy!" A little roar came as the Viking pushed the great doors open – the metal body of Whiplash attacked the student and she fell back laughing. I let them be and climbed into my stall – burying my freezing body in the hay.

A little roar made me look up and was met nose to nose with a bundle of red wool – a little white nose poked out and the baby Light Fury let out another roar – this one more annoyed than the last, I opened my wing and allowed Bright to nestle safely under it. "Help! Help! It won't come off!" a squeaky voice screamed as Sweet lumbered around – clawing at a red cloth with white spots and green leaves knitted into it. Whiplash sat in between Pebble's legs burying herself in the hay while also laughing at her Death Song Friend. Ivy got them onesies! Flow watched the Tiny Tooth from her position by the pond, amusement riddling her eyes.

Ivy ran forward, scooping up the Tiny Tooth, "Off?" she asked.

"Yes! It's toooooo Tiiiiighttttt!" Sweet screeched, Ivy mimicked the sound back as she started to remove the red outfit, Sweet stopped squirming and looked at her in confusion. "What?!" she shouted back, Ivy shouted back, she set the Death Song down and watched her run toward Whiplash.
