As we board the plane Ruby turns to me and whispers, " I can't believe this is actually happening Sash."
"Neither can I," I whisper back and give her a hug.
We remove our arms from around each other, and she makes her way back to Matt. When we booked the tickets there weren't three seats together, so I decided that I will sit separately from them.Once I get to my seat I put my baggage on the shelf above, and make myself comfortable. I'm startled by the sound of Jase's voice, as he interrupts me from reading.
"We meet again." He says.
I smile, "seems like it, so I take it your seat it next to mine?"
"Yep, looks like it."
"That's good, I was worried that I will have to sit next to some old person who can't wait to give me speeches about life."
"Awh no, old people are cool. I can give you speeches though." He says with a playful wink.
"Spare me," I groan, we both start to laugh.
We talk for what seems like years, often falling silent and looking into each others eyes.
Finally he excuses himself to leave for the bathroom and I use this as my opportunity to continue reading.
