Chapter 1 - Why Me?
Always insecure, never knowing what to do... I'm Rylie and this is my story. I'm 14 and don't give a damn about anything, I love myself, I can't get enough of myself. I go to Primrose High with my three friends June, Leah and Zoe.
'Heya girlies,' June called from the end of the street, looking suspicious. She had been acting rather strange lately and I was determined to find out why. I acted normal, as if I didn't have a clue. 'Hey June!' I called and she ran to me with open arms, 'Err...?' Why the hell was she hugging me?! 'Oh err sorry, I'm just in a good mood.' June said, and started to walk ahead. As usual Leah and Zoe were at the back being quiet. Everything was just so strange!
It was that day at school when things got even weirder, June ended up throwing up several times and ended up having to go to the nurse. I wondered if she was keeping a secret.... A dark secret. To be honest, she seemed very pale and sickly looking.. Was she.. No ... Never.. She'd never let that happen to herself, would she?
