Emily's POV
........
Louis takes me from Liam's arms and walks to the stairs. Before he starts the decent up, he look at me and smiles and leans in. "Welcome home cupcake" he whispers in my ear and starts to walk up stairs.
I tug non his shirt and he looks at me. "Can I walk up?" I ask him. We're only 5 steps up what looks to be a 25 step stair case.
Louis smiles and sets me down so I am standing a step ahead of him. Holding the railing, I step up one step at a time and I hear Louis 'aww' and the rest of the boys 'aww' with him once they see me making my way up the stairs. Let me tell you those stairs are tiring.
I make it about half way up when I looked back to see where Louis went. I s3him and the four others with these boxy thingies out and pointed at me. What are they doing? What are those things?
I turn fully around and sit on the steps and put my chin in my hands. They all 'aww' again and Louis puts his box away and hops up the steps and so do the others.
I get up and grab the railing again when I feel someone grab my hand. Looking over I see it's curly, I mean harry. He smiled at me and I notice that when the smiles, these little holes appear in his cheeks. Intrested, I tug his hand and he picks me up.
Inpoke and prod at his cheeks where those holes were and he smiles making them show up again. "Those are my dimples, love." He says point in to the so-called 'dimples'.
I smile and poke at my cheeks and Harry's face lights up. "Hey lads! Look at this! Emily has dimples just like me!! This is awesome, kitten!"
I noticed we were at the top of the stairs and all the boys were around me looking at my 'dimples'. Louis smiles and high-fives Harry.
I clear my throat and everyone looks at me "um.. Uh.. Can we- I mean may.. Uh.. I want- ple-" Niall interrupts my stuttering.
"Of course you can see your room love!" Niall says and runs down a hallway.
Zayn and Liam laugh and whisper to Harry and Louis. "Niall!! Other way mate!" Zayn yells to Niall.
Niall skids to a stop and runs in, what I'm guessing, the correct direction. Harry follows the running Niall making the ride very bumpy.
We come to a stop at a door that says 'Princess Emily' on it. I smile and look at the boys and Harry lets me down again.
"Go ahead love, open the door. This is your room." Louis says to me.
I get on my tippy toes and am barely talk enough to skim the door handle with my fingers. I look back at they urge me to open it. Looking up again I jump up and almost grab it, but miss and fall on my bum.
I pout and look at the boys. "I'm to short...." I whisper to them.
Harry steps forward "here kitten, let me help you with that" he says and opens the door a tiny bit. "There you go, now push it open." He whispers in my ear.
Getting up I push the door open and reveal a dark room. "Over here love" Louis calls from within the darkness.
I stand in the lit doorway and just stare in the black abyss. I slowly shake my head and back up.
"Emily, what's the matter?" I hear Liam ask and he walks from the dark into the hallway with me.
I look up at him and clutch his legs and whisper, "I don't wanna go in there. There's monsters in the dark."
He pats my head and lifts me up and carry's me in the dark room. "Don't worry there are no monsters in here love." Liam says.
Niall comes up to me with Louis right behind him. "Yeah! No monsters here Emily! We kicked all their butts and sent the to the house next door. Your room is officially monster free." Louis says
Suddenly the lights flip on and there, in my doorway, stands a monster.
