*PIPER'S POV*
I heard a knock at the door and smiled to myself. I knew At any time Sarah would be here. So I went to the kitchen and stood on my tiptoes to look through the peephole. I saw Sarah and opened the door. Today was the first day of summer so I hadn't seen her in almost a year. My mom had left about an hour ago and it was almost ten pm. My mom hired her when I was about two months old so she has been with me almost eight years and she started sitting when she was about thirteen. When I see her we both embrace into a bone crushing hug.
PIPER!! SARAH!! We both scream each other's names at the same time. Questions flow out of both of our mouths. How are you? How is school? Did you miss me? You look so much older! "Sarah" I say. I missed you soooo much! I know she says, let's sit on the couch and catch up on each other.
After about an hour of endless gossip and chatting, we decide to pick me out some pjs and grab a movie. Sometimes Sarah would let me stay up really late and watch movies. I guess tonight was one of those special nights. She threw some popcorn in the microwave while I picked out a movie. Out of our basket I saw three things, Frozen, Journey 2 the mysterious island, and minions. Sarah!! I scream, WHAT!! ARE YOU OK?? ARE YOU HURT?!?! No I say I need help picking out a movie.
We ended up watching frozen, the whole time I sang along with Sarah humming next to me. After the part where where Anna gets shot by Elsa in the heart I always seem to fall asleep.
That morning I wake up to Sarah sleeping next to me , her makeup is smeared. The first thought that comes through my mind is why is she still here? But looking through the window it is still dark so I slowly drift back off to sleep.
I wake up to the bed shifting and see Sarah getting up. I hear the phone ringing in the background and get up. I follow Sarah down the stairs without her noticing. She picks up the phone and she says hello. It is quiet for a second before I hear a shaky ok of a reply. She puts the phone down and says goodbye and thank you. I then notice she is crying.
She turns around and notices me. Piper, she said, I think we need to talk. About what I say? She replies, it's about your mom, something happened.
Thank you thank you thank you!! I almost have 50 reads and that's awesome ( so far) !!!!!! I know this is only the fourth
chapter but that's still awesome!!
Thanks again I'll keep updating a sap so it will be about every other day at the least.
