Two Sides of the Same Coin

Chapter Five

  After the carnival incident, Feliciano have been changing to Luciano and back some days and it had my head spinning. Monday was just a regular day with Feli and Lovino where we would talk about random things and ended up going back to pasta as the topic again and with no appearance of Luciano. Tuesday we played video games at Ludwig's house with his older brother Gilbert who was 'awesome' at it as he describes it. It was great until Feli was accused of cheating when Gilbert lost but that was just him being a sore loser and Feli just started crying and I had to stop him from crying which soon turned to chuckles...ugh. Wednesday was another visit from Luciano when he decided to come to my house for "studying" which I refused to be alone with him in my room. Thursday was my lazy day where I didn't want to do nothing except for homework and go to sleep. Friday was a movie day with Feliciano and the others to watch Deadpool and it was great though Feli got scared when the criminal popped out unexpected. Saturday was nothing but rain so I slept all day and I thought I heard Feli talking to me but his tone seemed to sound a little mischief. Sunday was a free day for me since there was a meeting for all my friends had to go to. Today was the day I did not expect to have a new student and it being Mathias, the one who use to bully Feliciano.

He had blond shaggy hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a plain white shirt with loose jeans and blue Jordan's. Mathias had a confident smile on his face as he stood in front of the class and scanning his classmates. When the bully's eyes landed on me, his smile grew bigger and I looked away from him to stare at a wall. The teacher told him to have a seat anywhere after he was done introducing himself and to my dismay he decided to take the empty seat beside me where I was facing the wall. Mathias faced me and smiled. "Hey, (name), it's been awhile," he said.

"Hello," I replied back. I only replied back to him since it would be rude it I didn't say anything back to a person talking to me and I don't like to be rude. I looked ahead where the teacher was and he was opening a book to find out what we were going to do today. As class started, it was hard for me to focus with Mathias staring at me. 

"(Name), do you remember me," he asked. I really didn't want to answer the question but I did anyway with a nod. I heard a chuckle come from the side of me. The history class was boring me with the talk about war. It did not interest me in the least. The class ends with the sound of the bell and I rush out the classroom to get away from Mathias and headed to my next class.

~Time Lapse~

Throughout the whole day, Mathias only had three classes with me and we both shared lunch. I was happy when school was over and I got to go home. I had run into Lovino and Feliciano as I was walking down the halls. They were putting their things in their lockers. "Hey guys," I called walking up to them.

"Hey-a, (name)," Feli and Lovino replied back. Feli had a little more cheer in his tone than Lovino. They closed their lockers and we left for home. As we were walking, I noticed that Feli was too quiet and that was unusual. I turn to see a sad look on his face. I think I know what is bothering him but I asked just in case I was wrong. "What is wrong, Feli?"
"Um... It-a is nothing," he lied. Lovino stopped to look at his brother and I stared at him with a pouted face. He had a sweat drop from me staring at him for too long. "Okay-a, I-a will-a tell," Feli said in defeat and a smile spread across my face.

"So-a, what-a is it-a," Lovino asked seeing that Feli was stalling. "It's-a about the-a new student," Feli replied.

"I knew it," I said.

"If-a you-a knew, then-a why did you-a ask," Lovino questioned.
"I wanted to make sure if that was the reason he was upset. I don't want to assume anything," I said.

"Why-a is this-a new-a student important? We-a get them-a time and-a time again-a," Lovino stated. Feli and I were silent for a moment until I saw Lovino growing impatient. I sighed and explained that Mathias was Feliciano old bully. "It-a doesn't seem-a that his-a former bully remembers my-a fratello, seeing that-a he is-a okay-a," he said.

That's because he was bothering me the whole day, I thought. 

"Lets-a go-a to my-a house-a. We-a can make pasta," Feliciano said bouncing back to his cheery self again. Although he startled Lovino and I with his unexpected voice, I was happy he was back to normal. We listened to Feli and went to his house to make pasta.
